Jazz Central is a great place for music as a patron, a great place to work things out musically, if you are a musician, and a really intimate setting to just relax. Variety of music from Latin to R&B. There is no cover to attend shows but there is a suggested donation. Jazz Central unfortunately is not handicapp accessible, as it is located in the lower level of an apartment style building without an elevator. Hearing live music is good for your soul. This place offers an intimate space where musicians can be close to their audience. There isn't anything fancy here. Just a house piano, upright base and five-piece drum set. No raised stage. Low ceilings--in in the basement--so don't expect to get any cell phone reception.
