I travel just over an hour every time I visit Sauna Strong, and it's worth the trip, every single time! Here, I get to relax in a spa-like gym experience with like-minded people that are all healing, growing, or making progressive movements in their day to day life. Harrison is big on family friendly, too. The environment he creates is calming, soothing, peaceful, as well as motivating and if you want? Challenging.
I've not come across anyone within the Sauna Strong community that is rude or unkind, or even in a bad mood. If someone is sad or feeling low, this is the kind of community that will and does lift you. I like to call Sauna Strong my hidden Oasis in the cities, a place to feel welcomed, and a place to develop overall health within the mind, body, and presence.
The staff does an exceptional job of keeping everything clean and well stocked, there's never any funny smells. There is the one inevitable Nancy or Joe that forgets to clean up after themselves, though there are notes posted sharing that towels are required in the saunas, and to please wipe everything down to help keep this from reoccurring. The great big positive is that at other gyms or spas I have gone to before, the sweat pools do seem far more frequent and much more significant, so the community at Sauna Strong as a whole is overall, very respectful of these small asks to clean up after ourselves to ensure a pleasant experience for the next person.
It also seems like there's something new going on every other week, if not weekly sometimes. It could be a new event, a free breath work course, or development to the space itself~ which keeps the environment refreshing as well as interesting and exciting, seeing it grow in front of you on a consistent basis.
The outdoor area is also wonderful, there is wooden fencing for privacy, as well as trees and rocks to play with. The open space provides sunshine nearly every day, it seems even on the cloudy days, the sun finds its way to shine down onto this place.
I've never heard of any sort of discrimination taking place regarding sex, race, age, or religion, nor even sarcastic judgment amongst banter. It's typical at other gyms for friends or family to jokingly give their loved ones a hard time and here? I don't even come across those forms of interactions.
Members are genuinely mindful and kind people within these doors. I recommend this spot to everyone who asks about infrared, everytime. I go nowhere else for my sauna needs, this is the place to be! The green light therapy has helped my psoriasis too, significantly.
Lastly, the lockers are able to be padlocked, but I have never brought one here. This is one of the rare and few spaces, if not the only public space I've walked into within the cities where I don't find myself worrying about theft. I don't believe I've ever seen anyone else use a padlock here either. There has been jewelry and water bottles left out in the open for weeks at a time, meant for people who have forgotten them to reclaim at a later time~ if that gives insight on the integrity of...
Read moreI am a member at Sauna Strong and have loved going in day to day to sauna and meet new people. Last night I participated in their Breathwork and Sauna event, which was my first event at Sauna Strong, and it was absolutely amazing! Harrisonâs facilitation through the breathwork part of the event was incredible. I have taken several breathwork classes and have done breathwork on my own but have never before experienced such a meditative state as I did last night. It is hard to capture in words how amazing I felt after this event. It was as if I was lighter, happier and at peace immediately after the breathwork session. I will absolutely be attending any and all breathwork events at Sauna Strong in the future and will bring friends so they can experience the powerful effects breathwork and sauna can generate. Thank you Harrison, the Sauna Strong Team and community for being so welcoming...

From the minute I walked in my first time, to the first class session I went to a week later - not to mention all the sauna sweats, and closed pours in the cold outdoor showers make you feel like youâre in the wild
Would highly recommend this joint if they are looking for the first time or for a more vibe, spiritual, knowledgeable setting and everyone surround you can share a different pile of info.
