This park is nice but it needs a few improvements not to mention the tables we sat on were old. But there's nothing else to complain about other than people having attitudes bunch of people who think they know about what are right and wrong. Although they're making conspiracies about it. Nobody made complaint about us thank goodness. Our brother is just swimming so far nobody said hey get your kid out of the pool. I could've added these sentences into capitalizations. You guys get the idea we want this park to be a safe and beautiful park for everyone. We don't want to had bad memories about it do we?? A broken table and some random stranger yelling at us even though they didn't. Anyway it's a park it's a beautiful place to park. I prefer Lake Harriet to be my final resting place but eh maybe this one will be a type of place to join and hangout.

This park is great with so many different areas to play in. Bocci ball courts, basketball, tennis, baseball fields, picnic tables, a sand pit, 2 playground areas and the pool. I do wish there was more for older kids. The fields are great if there's a group but not on their own.

What a wonderful park! Wide variety of things for kids of all ages to do. Lots of places for adults to sit and chill also. Big shaded trees and sheltered picnic tables really make this a go to park. My kids love it and will be back.

This used to be a favorite park to visit with the kids, but the new playground equipment is lacking opportunity for creative play and quite a disappointment compared to what was there before.

The two large ship-like structures that were previous mainstays in the park offered such room for imaginative play for a wide range of ages. The new equipment is largely suited to a younger set, and my 4 and 6 year olds are disappointed by the small scale of the new structures. I was stunned, too.

We used to be able to visit for hours and would have to negotiate with the kids to get them to leave. Since the playground reopened this summer, we have visited only once. The kids asked to leave after 30 minutes, and they haven’t asked to go back.

The former playground was such a treasure trove of fun, and we are so...

They've got pretty much everything you'd want from a park from what I saw, even if it hadn't opened yet, the not opened part being the kid's wading pool. The two of us only went there for a place to eat dessert on a nice day. A decent amount of picnic tables, but I wouldn't have been mad if there were more away from the crow areas. The bathrooms were open for her even in mid April. The drinking fountains were still capped. No complaints about that, just saying for...
