This place is terrible. It's a training ground for noobs just out of college. Despite claims of expert service and decades of experience the Emily Program is staffed with unqualified, undertrained, inept staff overseen by money hungry executives looking to make as much money as possible regardless of your actual needs. I've spent six months so far in intensive programs trying to correct the damage I received in their care.

To the owner: please don't thank me for feedback, we both know you aren't interested in what I have to say and would probably delete this if you could (like you do with any oppositional social media you find). This isn't for you. I'm also not interested in filing another grievance. That experience was unnecessarily brutal and tantamount to subjecting myself to gaslighting. While I’m unable to speak on TEP as a whole, I can’t say enough good things about this specific residential location and its staff. My most recent stay here was genuinely life-saving; I came in at an extreme mental & physical low, terrified to the point of immobility of most things (committing to recovery being the scariest), and the staff and other clients were so patient, kind, and endlessly helpful in digging me out of the hole of ED and helping me see the light :] I will say that you must be willing to change and grow in order for this treatment to have its intended effect. They prematurely discharged me without a set discharge plan because I got angry with a staff and they claimed I threatened him. The staff here are INCREDIBLY inconsistent and pretty much all the staff here are on different pages about things. If you want to get a clear answer on a rule or policy, good luck on that because they have like 60 staff for 16 clients! So also be prepared to be hyper vigilantly monitored 24/7.
