Very good food and nice service. Glad to have them back! Caesar Salad Creamy crunchy traditional Caesar, very good. Panzanella Salad Tomatoes basil burrata croutons Refreshing flavors or basil Couple different types of tomato The crispy croutons sit in the tomato juices to soften them while soaking up all the great flavors from the dish. Bucatini Spicy but a really good red pepper spicy. Mn nice spicy. Noodles done with good texture. A little crunch and cheese on top. Tagliatelle with Short Rib Ragu Surprising seemed like lighter dish even with the rich short ribs, good flavors. Shell Pea Agnolotti We really wanted the other two pastas but this one was the best. Super yummy, and braised greens were amazing with creamy goodness inside the pasta. We came for the first two pastas but fell in love with the Agnolotti. Meatballs Yummy! Bed of polenta and carmalized carrots make this dish, but the fresh herbs add a great pop to keep it fresh. Polenta Cramy goodness, no one has said I am polenta guy but this was really good Chicken White bean, the pickled veggie are a hit with the crispy chicken. Big chunks of garlic. We also loved the affordable wines on the menu!!!

Another fantastic linden hills restaurant! The interior is cozy and romantic for date nights. We went on a Sunday evening during a Vikings game and there were plenty of tables but I imagine it gets busy on other nights. Our server was great. Based on other reviews, we tried the brussel sprout appetizer, which were the best brussel sprouts I’ve ever had. For $9, it was a huge serving. The focaccia was also the best bread I’ve ever had— we asked if they sell that and it’s only served with meals which I’m bummed about. The white bucatini and short rib pasta were amazing! I will definitely be back!

Delicious Italian food guaranteed…at least that has been our experience on our many recent visits to Tosca. We have not tried everything but highlights are the brussel sprouts (should be tried even if you think you don’t like these edible buds, here prepared crisp, sweet and savory), beef tagliatelle and short ribs! Simple atmosphere and relatively easy parking.

One of the real dilemnas I have when I find an amazing restaurant that is flying under the radar is whether to keep that a secret so I can get easy reservations.

But in the case of Tosca, I really want Chef Adam Vickerman to get all the kudos he deserves. It crushed us when he left Levain, but we understood why. I have literally being searching his name on google every few months for the last few years, hoping he reappears somewhere.

And he has, at Tosca. And it’s amazing. As usual. We had the cacio e pepe, tagliatelle w/ragu and the butter chicken; all very good.

Tosca is immediately one of my two favorite restaurants in Minneapolis. It’s close to our house and it will become a regular destination...

Was really excited about trying a new Italian place in the neighborhood, but our experience was pretty underwhelming. We ordered a bottle of white wine which was not chilled at all and was almost warm given how hot it was that day, which put a bit of a damper on things. Our bread came out long after our salad and while we were already eating our entrees, which was weird. The pasta was definitely not bad, but nothing crazy to write home about. I know they share a space with Turtle Bread, but I wish the interior felt a little less dated. Will probably give it another shot after they’ve been open a little longer and get their bearings together, as I think it has a ton...
