I used to really like this store. However, as others have noted this store recently started the absolutely ridiculous policy of locking up all of their toiletries behind display cases. If you want Toothpaste, soap, deodorant, etc. you will now have to wait for an employee to come unlock it and you tell them which item(s) you want. It appears they aren’t done either - I saw them installing doors on the medicines and health supplements as well.
I was told it is because of increasing theft. Let me explain something to the boneheaded management responsible for this terrible decision: If I wanted to steal something, I could still just as easily walk out of the store afterwards with it. This does nothing but inconvenience shoppers and waste both our and your employees’ time. Hire more security, or off duty police or retired military if you are concerned about theft or safety - and give them more power to actually go after thieves.
I strongly prefer Target to Walmart and most competitors, but if this is how they plan to continue going forward and treating all customers like criminals and having no respect for our time I’ll just buy any of the now locked up items from elsewhere. I won’t support this.
Whoever thought this was a good idea needs to be fired. I can almost guarantee your losses in sales because of this policy will far eclipse any prior loss due to theft.
Sincerely,
A longtime...
Read moreThe baristas are very rude at this location especially the tall skinny blonde haired white girl. When asking about the new melon energy drink she gave me this snooty response while swerving her head: "WELL .. ITS MELON AND ITS ENERGY..." like okay b!tch I knew that much! You'd think it would kill her to tell someone if this drink is a refresher or tea or what? Then the guest in front of me tells her that she doesn't like her drink and asks can they change it to something else and the other baristas butt in to say no she can't switch it to something else. She then asks can she get a refund and they tell her no. This lady has to ask for a manager because not one barista knows how to be hospitable here. I worked for Starbucks for 8 years and this is not the Starbucks standard or quality. Every time I get a drink here it's gross! It used to be much better a year ago when these nice young men worked here but not anymore.
It's also frustrating that they have the store roped off in various sections and you have to get someone to unlock everything as you want to buy it. I'm so over this location I hope y'all get shut down soon and turned into something else. This location needs an...
Read moreThis target location has really gone downhill. Every single personal care item is locked up and there's never an employee that responds to the request to open the locked doors. If you find an employee to help, you have to drag them along with you to open 5 different locked cases so you can finish your shopping. The employees that are present are clearly overworked, tired, and stressed. This store is unorganized and dirty. There's been multiple occasions where i find trash and spills in multiple places. Clothes are not put away properly and are often all over the floor. The selection of sizes is really poor, too. I've moved to doing pickup only orders, but half the time the items(and substitutions) are out of stock and i only receive part of my order. A hairdryer i just bought had clearly been used as there was hair in the box along with some caramel corn pieces 🤢 It's really sad to see the store in such a state. Target is my favorite place to shop, and it's a bummer that my neighborhood store has become such a stressful and frustrating place to shop. I don't want to drive 20+ minutes out to the suburbs to do my shopping. I hope Target Corporate tries to help this...
