I don't recommend this coffee shop. Today I had a "very Intersting" (wierd) experience at this Caribou. I arrived around 11am for a cup of tea and do some work. I was without a mask, not because I was challenging them, just because for the last few, or maybe more than few, months all the Caribou that I am going to work its not requesting masks. I stayed there for 2,5h working without a mask in my table and drinking my tea. Around 1:30pm my friend came over for catch up. We went to order and the lady said: "You guys need a mask, please next time wear a mask", my friend and I immediately said: "I am sorry, we don't have a mask but we gladly can wear, do you have a mask available?" The lady relied: "no we don't". She finished her order and I paid and we went immediately to sit at our table to eat and drink what we had order. 3-5 minutes later, while we were chatting, the lady came over to us and asked us to leave, because masks were required. I replied: We understood we will finish eating and drinking and go. She replied: "without a mask you have to leave now", you can stay if you use the mask, taking off only when you take a bite of food or having your drink. We respectfully left without understanding. I can't judge or interprete anything but I really can't understand for two reasons: 1) I stayed there for 2,5h without mask and nobody asked questions but when my friend arrived the rules changed. 2) Why she did not told me to leave before I bought the food? Why she waited us to sit and start our food to kick us out? At least once a week I work or have a meeting at Caribou, I have never went through a very weird situation. I was not able to find out what was the issue but the situation was enough to consider not recommend or attend this...
Read moreI go to Caribou every single morning before work. My usual location is the Fridley location. I switched jobs and now come to this location. At Fridley they know me and my drink by name. I come here now and only came twice so far and have come to find that this location is not friendly and the girl with the short dark hair, hat and glasses has been rude both visits! First visit she had an attitude because I asked for extra ice when she was starting to make my drink. Today I asked a question and she going to say that I was learning over the ledge when I wasn't, was just pointing an unopened straw as I was asking a question. She was just so rude about it. Then they call out your drink and don't even say thank you! No smiles what so ever. I do not recommend this location to anyone!! I am a general manager myself, and the service that I received was just horrible the...

They go above and beyond to ensure their customers are truly satisfied!we look forward to seeing those beautiful smiling faces!I am astonished witnessing such dedication from Adrianne,She remembers people's names/perks #/orders, I've personally witnessed how much that affects the regulars that come in.Those details that may seem small have such a huge impact, definitely makes you want to keep...
