Nestled between a Taco Bell and a McDonald's, this particular Burger King in Minneapolis caught my attention, providing an alternative to the golden arches. The journey began with a less-than-ideal parking lot experience—a chaotic scene with drivers seemingly everywhere, reluctant to yield their spots. The lot was full, leaving me with no choice but to park further away and endure a brisk walk in the cold, which, while not unwelcome, added an extra layer of inconvenience to my visit.
In a peculiar twist, I encountered a woman saving a spot for someone by standing in an empty parking space, further contributing to the chaos in the already crowded lot. This added a touch of frustration to the parking ordeal, making it a less-than-pleasant start to my visit.
Entering the Burger King, I made my way to the counter and promptly ordered a Whopper without onions. To my pleasant surprise, the service was swift, and the staff exhibited a friendly demeanor. However, the initial positive impression was marred when I opened my food to discover an overdone patty and the unwelcome addition of onions in my supposedly onion-free Whopper.
Despite the hiccup, I opted to salvage my meal by removing the onions and proceeding with my dining experience. Unfortunately, the overcooked meat didn't contribute to a satisfying burger indulgence. The disappointment continued when I learned that the soda machine was temporarily out of order, depriving me of the refreshing beverage that typically accompanies a fast-food meal.
While the staff's friendliness and the prompt service were noteworthy, the overall experience at this Burger King fell short of expectations due to the overdone meat, the unexpected presence of onions in my order, and the chaotic parking lot situation. Perhaps in the future, I'll give Burger King another try, hoping for an improvement in the cooking of the meat, a fully functional soda machine, and a less eventful parking experience. The potential is there, but a few adjustments are needed for a more...
Read moreIf i could give this place a negative 5 i would. Me and my coworkers came here to order and everything was going fine until we got up to the window and my coworker wanted to split the pays. The older hispanic lady gave us attitude saying she couldnt split the payment and asked us if we wanted to cancel the order instead. She was making it such a big deal that i decided to just pay it all. Then after she told us to pull aside and wait because our "order was too big". All we ordered was 2 whoppers, 2 fish sandwhiches, 1 lemonade, 1 unsweeted tea and some cheese tators or something. So we pulled to the front and my coworker wanted to go inside so i went inside with him. As we stood there and waited for our meals, a younger worker asked us what we wanted and we told him we were waiting for our order and i gave him the reciept. He prepped it up quickly and gave it to us but i told him we still needed that medium lemonade. So he looks at the order again all confused and asking the older hispanic lady. She mumbles and gives a dirty look and he grabs a medium cup and looks at her confused. Then she says "Just give it to them! They can pour it themselves!" Like what? what did we even do to you? We were honestly nice. But she was really rude and she shouldnt even work there honestly if she cant handle fast food lol. Never going...
Read morePulled up to the drive-thru at about 3am, at first they were about to take my order, then suddenly stopped and said sorry, we're closed. I go next door to the Taco Bell instead, and upon receiving my order there, I then see the Burger King drive through taking another customer. . Just the night before, I was working doordash, and their drive-thru was deliberately blocked by a car on idle with no driver visible inside. I had to physically walk up to the window and carry three separate orders back to my car. When I immediately told them about the car blocking the drive-thru, the employees didn't seem surprised at all, more or less ignoring my feedback, which I had no choice but to take as them deliberately using their own car to block the drive-thru so that they wouldn't have to take orders. Just what in the heck is going on at this location? It never seemed to be like this before.
Update: Go back a week later at 2:30am, pull up to drive-thru, they say, "Hi, can I take your order?" I start speaking, and immediately, they say, "Sorry, we're closed." I ask what time they close, they say 2:30. All their lights are on, no indication that...
