Life Time Fitness in Wayzata, located right off 101, is an incredible fitness destination that offers an amazing blend of luxury, functionality, and community. From the moment you walk through the doors, the friendly and professional front desk staff makes you feel welcome and valued as a member. The entire facility is spotlessly clean, well-lit, and thoughtfully designed, creating an environment that motivates you to push your limits and enjoy your time here.
The variety of equipment is outstanding—there are rows of top-of-the-line cardio machines, a wide range of free weights, strength training machines, and dedicated spaces for functional fitness. I particularly love the turf area for sled pushes, kettlebells, and dynamic movement drills. The indoor pool and hot tub are perfect for both recovery and serious swim workouts, and the sauna and steam rooms offer a spa-like experience after a tough session.
The group fitness classes at this Life Time are next-level. The instructors are energetic, knowledgeable, and create a welcoming environment for all fitness levels. Whether it’s yoga, cycling, strength training, or HIIT, every class feels like a well-thought-out, high-energy workout. The Life Time app makes it super easy to browse the class schedule, reserve a spot, and manage your membership.
The LifeCafe offers healthy, delicious options for post-workout refueling—everything from protein smoothies to full meals—and the LifeSpa services are a great way to unwind and treat yourself to a massage or facial. The childcare area is another standout feature, with a safe, clean, and engaging space where kids can play and learn while you focus on your fitness goals.
What truly sets Life Time Wayzata apart is the sense of community—it’s more than just a gym; it’s a place where people of all ages and fitness levels come together to improve their health and well-being. Whether you’re a serious athlete or just starting your fitness journey, this Life Time has everything you need.
Highly recommend Life Time Wayzata for anyone looking for a premium health club experience with outstanding amenities, excellent customer service, and a...
Read moreThe facility is very nice and well taken care of. From what I gather from my wife, the female trainers are very good. My experience with the male trainers has been less the satisfactory. I realize they are with clients, but when you ask if they are done with something they give you these really snide looks and cop an attitude. Typically I like to get in and get out, but they are always approaching you telling you that you are doing something wrong. I have been working out for about 15 years with various trainers and know the movements. They will usually try to catch you when one of your reps just wasn't right and tell you you need a trainer. It is truly annoying. I would avoid getting a male trainer here. The pool area is nice. There is a small open pool and slightly longer, but not as wide, lap pool (only two lanes). The swimmers here seem pretty polite and are willing to share lanes. Though, it can get...
Read moreI'm saddened to say that after 5 years of on and off membership at this gym, I've decided to depart due to a variety of reasons, price and value being chief among them. The facility used to be less crowded but with an increase in both population and prices, I can no longer justify my membership. Be advised, the membership here is an all in one model and covers everything, even classes and trainers I don't use with no way to select different member levels based on intended use. The facility is well kept and offers many comforts that are hard to find elsewhere, but saving thousands a year by going to another gym is something that shouldn't be ignored, especially if subsidized additionally through insurance. The reasons for me justifying the price no longer exist; I can pay for a Cancun or Big Sky trip every year just on the money I'll save. That's all from me, you make your...
