Went here for years before covid and loved this place. Finally re-opened after COVID shut down. Like we can buy a bottle of wine next door and drink in Spasso's with No corkage charges. Not the same after covid. More limited menu okay if everything good. Food Good but not consistently good, like it was before covid. Service hit or miss. Used to have seasoned waitresses like Mary, now young kids some don't have a clue. Today we were seated for what I was hoping to be a nice dinner for two. Greeted by a waitress who took our order for drinks and said we would order appetizers when she came back. While waiting for drinks a young loudmouth kid said looks like I'm your waiter. We said already have a server and put an order in. Apparently fighting over tables he talked to her and she came back and said he would be our waiter I said he's a loudmouth arrogant and obnoxious really would not like that. He came back and it loud voice said I hear you don't like me... while I'm your waiter. I said we'd thinking we may to leave. He didn't hear me kept talking loudly thinking he's God's gift, I mentioned it again. He didn't hear me kept on loud antics and I finally said in a loud voice you haven't heard anything I said WE ARE LEAVING. He made some rude comment grabbed our glass of wine which we had not touched and walked away. We left and had a very nice meal at a restaurant we frequent often and have never had a bad meal. Not a relaxed dining atmosphere. We used to dine here all the time...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDelicious. We came here for Motherās Day dinner with my mother in law. Itās casual enough that my husband was able to wear a t-shirt and shorts but you can also dress up a bit. I was the only one that got a drink - I tried the pink margarita which was pretty good. They have bread baskets and the bread and butter is very tasty.
We tried some appetizers: the Parmesan truffle wings were very good. My husband doesnāt like wings but he liked them. We also got the steak fondue appetizer. My MIL thought this would come out like you cook it and fondue it yourself. It did not. I was not expecting it to be something you fondue yourself. The fondue cheese was very good. I liked the arugula, bread, and tomatoes that accompanied the appetizer. The steak was a bit chewy but it was flavored well.
For dinner the kids shared the margarita Pizza which they really enjoyed. My husband got a pizza as well. I split the walleye with my MIL. The dish was very good. I wouldnāt have minded a little bit if a crispier walleye but it was still very good.
For dessert we got cheesecake (I didnāt try this try this because it had peaches on it and Iām allergic to those however, I appreciate the server letting me know when he found out it wasnāt just blueberries), the key lime pie, and the crĆØme brĆ»lĆ©e.

Itās fair to say my first try of this classic Italian dish Bologn-Blew my mind!! Fresh made pasta dressed with the traditional meaty, thick, creamy sauce, made from wine, tomatoes, beef, and finely diced vegetables⦠spectacularly superb š Oh, did I forgot the Ricotta BOMB on top?! Ridiculously delicious. You wonāt believe something this good exists until you experience Bolognese šÆ
My dining comrades all gave great marks to their dishes. The gnocchi might be my pick next time based on its amazing appearance. But that Emilia-Romagna Pasta with prosciutto and parmesan looks promising⦠and it certainly wouldnāt harm to try the Chicken Parmigiano. I might have to head back a few times š
