Dollar General — Local services in Mint Hill

I would give this store a minus 5 stars if I could, but had to give 1 star in order to write the review.Went into Dollar General Saturday night June 15th. I did think they were open until 10 o'clock, but it was 8:50, and they reminded me of that the second I walked through the door. I had to pick up 4 things, and since I know the store and where everything is because I shop there at least 4 times a week, I went straight to it. I was coming up the aisle, and 1 of the 2 employees there yelled at me that I have 3 minutes and she is shutting down her register. She obviously does not own the store or work on commission or her attitude would have been a whole lot better. I hope dollar General corporate is reading this. HIRE NEW HELP AND EMPLOYEES THAT CARE ABOUT HAVING A JOB, AND HAVE BETTER ATTITUDES!!! I would rather go to Target and pick up my items and pay a few dollars more rather than getting a bucket of attitude when I'm about to open my wallet. What is wrong...

We shop here quite often for small items that are too pricey (or they don't have) at the grocery store. The selection and prices are very impressive! A few years ago I would hardly visit this location, because the staff would disappear into the back, and were very unfriendly, but now everyone that works there is friendly and helpful, and always near the register when you are ready. I would give it 5 stars, but the organization and space between isles is a little lacking, that said, it doesn't bother me...

Great little store! Sometimes it can be a little messy but stuffs cheap! I can deal. Save time here for simple items. They have more shelf and cold food then ya think. Plenty of parking and never too busy. Easy in and out to two main roads. Always good deals and folks there are nice. I hit this place up once or twice a week. Thanks Dollar General...
