Food Lion — Local services in Mint Hill

I usually have a great experience when I come in this store but the experience today was horrendous. The cashier which is a young male had a horrible attitude. I first didn't even know if he worked at the store because he had a over sized hoodie on and was just looking around. When I asked him if he was the cashier he just walked around the counter. I loaded the items on the conveyor belt and then I picked up the water for him to scan so he didn't have to lift it. He then says oh because he had not logged into the computer so now I have to hold on to this heavy water and wait for him to log in. I let him know that I was doing instacart and I had two separate orders. Even though I separated the orders, he's still proceeded to bring them up together and I had to remind him that they were separated because they were two separate Waters so he had to take some of the items off of the first order. He then proceeds to bag both orders and all white so I'm asking him to wait so that I could separate them and he proceeds today and put them all together. I will self check out before I get in his line again....

I have been shopping at this food lion for two years and have NEVER been treated as badly as I was this morning. The cashier was very rude and clearly racist. I have worked a double shift and very tired. Waited in line like every one else but when she got to me she started asking for Change for her drawer and not ringing me up. Then a lady walks in and she wants to serve her right away. She said to me you want to let her go in front of you? Then because I didn’t say yes the cashier rang me up with attitude. Then another employee comes over to ring the lady up stating “is that all you have” as if I was wrong for not allowing her in front of me. No other line was open when I came in the store but a long line of people. I was the last customer. Insane... Then I called the store to speak to the management. Once again the rude lady answer the phone. When I asked to speak to the manager she yelled “Walter the phone for you” he never came to the phone. I am very disappointed with the way I was treated and will report this...

Lady at customer service had thee worse attitude. So, I needed a money order and right before it was my turn her register started beeping. I ask, with a smile if she was going to be able to help me, talking with her hands says I don't know what's your question. Me still with a smile I need a money order, her still talking with her hands no something is wrong with my register. Then I ask do you know how long. Her still talking with her hands and waving the parts of the register in the air, I don't know, I don't know what's wrong with it. Ma'am you seem old enough to know talking with your hands is something you don't do, 2nd you were talking to me as if I broke it. I just moved in the neighborhood and you already...
