Colin is the absolute best!!’ ( full detail of Colin below) I’ve been coming here with my son the last 4 years as consistent members when it was called Defy, they’ve made a lot of upgrades, took away some things to add new things so there is no longer an island to jump on and off from in front of the dodgeball. Kids would hog it all up and sit on it ruining it for others anyways so they made better use for the space.

We finally threw a party here and the discount as a member is so worth it. Also, if you go twice per month the membership pays for itself. My son and I go at least twice per week and it’s so good for him. He’s now 10 and is also in Jujitsu so this is a good add on for cardio such as dodge ball and the obstacle courses.

Back to the party and Colin. That guy is the absolute best party planner hands down, I’ve never seen someone with the energy, the enthusiasm, the kindness, the professionalism of any party planner and that includes weddings that cost six figures. He let me do a custom shout out for my sons 10 bday by giving him a script and he put his own spin on it. My son had been through a lot the last year and this bday party put him back in shape. I couldn’t imagine the birthday party being as fun and interactive as it was without Colin. That man puts his heart and soul into each party and all the moms were so impressed with how well it was put together. As a member and my discount I went for the mega VIP package for 15 kids and it came with everything but the cake and also came with free tickets to return for each guest, so worth it to do playdates in the future. As a full time single father and working with 15 different families I couldn’t get all to RSVP, the ones that didn’t show they deducted from my final check.

This place isn’t like other places taking advantage of parents at their kids parties. This place legitimately cares and Colin is the absolute face of parties here so if you want the greatest party, nobody does it better than Colin. Just do him a favor, he will put his life into your party to make it special, when service blows you away and it involves your kids with unforgettable memories, this is one of those moments you give an above average tip.

Things are so tight for me now but because of that experience, I at least had to tip the high tier option (you can custom any amount you want) because my son will never forget this day! It always comes back to you!!! God bless this place we will always be members as long as we live here, we commute from Irvine. This is the best trampoline park in SoCal hands down. The other team members are also so friendly, they all speak English as their first language and you can tell the managers here hire quality because all of these members go above and beyond to give you the best experience from the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave dripping sweat.

Lastly to the parents, do the parent add on and jump with your kids. Burn calories, climb the warp wall and stop being a lazy and actually do something. I’m the only parent who is jumping around and getting crazy with the kids. You will burn 1,000+ calories if you are going at it and playing dodgeball. I use this time not just to engage with my son, but also as my cardio for the week coming twice per week. All I need is weights during the week so I save time for those health enthusiasts who actually want to be alive and active when their grandchildren are born! Thank you Skyzone MV and a special shout out to the happiest man alive, Colin!! Love Johnny...

I remember when this building was first built and was originally a well known large, quite book store. Finally someone put the building to use for something South Orange county has been lacking more and more, a place kids can gather with others in a safe environment and meet new friends outside of school if they are even able to attend school in person, if not it make places like this even more important for children. I wish more people could see this need and I love someone is taking a chance with a large building like this, doing it all for the kids. Just making something like this happen isn't easy. So much more cost goes in to this than what you see inside and the employees, just the legal part of getting something like this going makes most business people/Investors look the other direction, unfortunately, thats a story in itself. I have been driving by this place almost every day since I returned home (mission Viejo) from yacht construction project, 6yrs in Hawaii. I see this sign DEFY and after working on big deisel caterpillar yacht engine's the size of a truck, the sign just says DEFY that makes me think of the fluid they use in all new diesel engines to clean the exhaust. After months of wondering what this place was, never would I have guessed what it really was, untill i remembered to look on google maps and went to check it out after picking up some doughnuts down the street yesterday. I wish the Sign visible most by the freeway or all signage said more than just DEFY and add something like Extreme Activity center, something anything!!! To give me any clue of what it is, I cant imagine the amount of business bypass most importantly the kids who need something like this, the only child with an over protective helicopter parent thats being home schooled now and no place to interact with other children. Im already making plans to get my 2 nephews from Venice beach that is almost like a different country because its LA county with harsh lockdown and homeless crime even though they go to private school and live a block from the beach, they cant play outside, the skateparks have all been filled with sand by the city and fenced off playgrounds... If i knew what this was when I first saw it or just a better idea of what it might be to get me to look in to this sooner, my nephews would have been coming all the time !!! Please see if a remedy to this signage is a possibility, It could only do good for the business , community and the kids of course. A simple addition under the existing signs, or LED panel to really grab attention would make all the difference!!! I would personally help with design, install anything, Im an engineer and certified CAD designer. I will do as much with my google admin status to get the word out. Something visible from the southbound 5 Fwy that says or shows something more than just the word DEFY will do wonders and cost benefit is a no brainer... Thanks to everyone that put this place together, kept it running when things got hard. Your doing so much for kids and this business is more important than people think for kids especially at times like this... Thank you all so much. Let me know if you ever need help from an electromechanical engineer, materials expert, rendering simulation anything to keep this...

UPDATED REVIEW: I received a reply to my review followed by a phone conversation with the owner of Defy. We discussed my concerns, and I felt that she was very receptive of my input and committed to re-educating her staff to provide the best experience and safest environment that she could. We have received complimentary tickets to return to Defy, and will take advantage of this opportunity to make our visit a more positive one.

This was my first experience with Defy, and I wasn’t very impressed. I was dropping off my grandson for a birthday party and wasn’t sure what we were supposed to do. We found the check-in desk, and were asked if this was our first time there. I said it was. We then registered my grandson, and I was asked if I had filled out a waiver. I had not since it was my first time there and didn’t know I needed to. I was then directed to the waiver computers by the entrance. I was told that my grandson would be given his socks and his wristband while I was filling out the waiver. After I came back from this lengthy process, my grandson had disappeared. I asked the person at the check-in where he went. She said he went up with his group. That made me feel a little bit better. I was then told I could get a wristband and go find him. I walked up where the activities were, but after having walked around three times, I found neither him nor any attendant whom I could ask for information. I went back to the check-in desk and asked if you might be in the party room. I was told they were not, and I was also told that there were attendants up by the activities. I turned around and saw one person standing by the stairs I had just come down. He hadn’t been there when I was looking around for my grandson. I then went outside and called my daughter to let her know what was going on and find out where I might or how I might locate my grandson. She then had to call the mother of the birthday boy to locate her son. Later, when I spoke with my grandson, I found that he had not gone up with “the group“, but had found one other child attending the party and had gone up there alone looking for his friend and the group. I wasn’t impressed with this check-in process nor with the security or watchfulness of those supposedly stationed around at the activities. I saw children, young children because was an early afternoon activity on a school day, trying out different equipment and activities alone. We have been to similar facilities and held several birthday parties for our older grandson, and there had always been an introductory time with a reading of the rules and visible and plentiful in attendance. I didn’t feel safe here and I didn’t feel comfortable with the safety for my grandson or with the lack of information or concern from the check-in person who seemed unaware or unconcerned that my young grandson had been sent off by himself before I came back from filling out the waiver. When I picked him up, he was very excited and had had a wonderful time and was safe and unharmed. For all that I was happy. For the lack of organization and the apparent lack of supervision, I...
