I have NEVER been treated so unprofessional in all my life! While the owners wife, Dorothea, is kind, professional and her husbands only saving grace, Mr. Honey is anything but sweet. Not only does he have a huge bag of nacho doritos open on his desk next to the jewelry (I couldnt help but hope nacho cheese powder wouldn't on my jewelry) and he couldnt find my rings easily, every interaction I had with him eroded any confidence I had in him to handle my jewelry. His attitude is condescending, brusque and lackadaisical . I only needed my rings sized and soldered. He thinks that I was upset because they weren't ready on time but that was not the reason. He raised his voice to me and blamed me for the reason my rings were not ready on time, which is outrageous! He lied to me as soon as I walked in saying that it was too late for me to pick up my rings because the soldering process had begun. I had to ask him 4x what exactly has been done to my rings. Finally he said they've been polished so I can take them if I want. He retrieved them and flung them into my hand then walked away. I am not a confrontational person, but I did tell him I thought he was unprofessional and I will not be doing business with him again. There is much more but I think I've said enough. I wouldn't trust him with any of my jewelry ever, in fact, I will make sure the jeweler I take my jewelry to does not use him as...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to Honey Jewelers expecting a business transaction, and what I got was an experience. Walking into Honey's is like walking into the home of a favored family member, from the decor and ambiance, to the welcoming clientele. My husband and I, life-long nerds, had been gifted a beautiful family heirloom ring with permission to re-purpose the diamonds. We chose to design a ring after our mutual favorite film - Luc Besson's 'The Fifth Element' - but we both had quite a bit of trepidation about finding someone who would melt down a 100-year-old Tiffany's band and turn it into an extremely geeky wedding ring. Honey's didn't bat an eye. Instead, they told us to pull up a chair. When I say we spent several sessions designing this ring down to the very last detail, I mean it. From durability, to shaping and placement, down to literal hidden gems...Wade & his team went above and beyond to create a piece of fine jewelry that is also an art piece, and a tribute to nerd culture (which is terribly underrepresented in the fashion world). To summarize; we are beyond thrilled with our Honey's experience. We will be going to them to design another nerdy ring for my husband soon, and can't recommend...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePicking out wedding rings can become a stressful adventure. We had been to several jewelers and had become a little disappointed. We found a couple of rings that would be OK, but nothing that really excited us. We even thought about āsettlingā on a couple of different rings. We then entered Honey Jewelers. The shop is different than most and we started talking with Wade and Dorothea. It wasnāt long before they had some ideas that started to interest us. By the end of the 1st visit we became optimistic that we would find the rings that would excite us. We returned a few days later and worked through some designs with a lot of back and forth between the 2 of us, Wade and Dorothea. They both listened to our ideas and worked with us to design what developed into exactly what we wanted, even though we didnāt know what that was until they walked us through this process. Together, we designed two custom rings that are truly unique. We couldnāt be happier with our rings and will always be grateful for their true interest, expertise and excitement in making this dream come true....
