After being an extremely loyal customer for years, I am officially done with Bridge Pizza. We used to order three times a week, but I've ordered my last pizza. The quality has gone down so significantly. I've always ordered large pepperoni pizzas. They are supposed to be 16inches. After several years of ordering three times a week, I probably received an actual 16inch pizza about 10% of the time. It was typically 15 inches. I never complained when I received 15 inch pizzas. Recently, the pizzas have consistently been 14 inches and quite frequently burnt. when I wrote to complain about receiving 14 inch, instead of 16 inch pizzas, I was told that a 14 inch is basically the same as a 16 inch so I had no basis for complaining. They told me that they use the same dough amount for all large pizzas, but sometimes they don't stretch them properly. But they tried to tell me that everything is the same between a 14 inch and a 16 inch pizza, which of course is not possible. A 14 inch pizza has far less sauce, cheese and pepperoni. Less surface area means less toppings. The 14 inch pizzas weighed significantly less than the 15 or 16inch pizzas, so I know I was not receiving the "same" product I ordered. Today a burnt 14 inch pizza arrived at my house and I'm done. I will be trying out Biga Pizza which is the same price and better reviewed. I'm super disappointed in this place. I can understand they make a mistake sometimes, but management telling me I had no basis to complain about receiving a pizza 2 inches smaller than what I had bought is just too much for me. Especially when I had ordered literally hundreds of pizzas from this place over the last few years. Spend your valuable money somewhere else where they take pride in their product and don't gaslight customers when they have very...
Read morePizza was ok (I only had the pepperoni), but wasn't anything I would call extraordinary. The crust was a nice texture (slightly chewy, but can be bitten off the slice easily) and I really liked the idea of selling a quarter of a medium looking pizza as a individual slice.
I guess this is a new location for a popular local pizza restaurant (I'm from Texas and was just passing through for a bite), so I'm thinking that's why it took f-o-r-e-v-e-r to get a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs and some quinoa/beet mix that other people in our party ordered. And looking around the dining room at the time, we weren't the only people waiting a long time to get their food as well since we could see the table tags around for others that didn't order the ready-made pizza slices.
Also, what's the problem with parking at Bridge Pizza? We went to the original location first and it was beyond packed which is why we ended up at the newest location and it was super packed as well. Both locations had to have had around 10-15 parking spaces for each location (if you don't count public and makeshift parking) and then I guess you're on your own. We ended up risking getting potentially towed and parked at a nearby gift shop that was closed at the time. I know if I lived in this area I would probably just order it for delivery and skip all that parking nonsense for a decent pizza (or just go somewhere else, geez).
So, in the end, while the pizza was ok and our interactions with the staff was fine, I personally don't think it's worth the potential parking problems and super long wait for anything other than ready-made pizza slices to recommend this place to anyone who isn't just grabbing a slice, getting it delivered, or called ahead an...
Read moreI wish we took a picture. This pizza was amazing. Amazing to look at, amazing to eat. Aaahhh! One of the of the best meals we have had in a very long time. We had the Buckhouse pizza, Caesar salad, and Chicken fettuccine. All of it was amazing. But the pizza, Wow! Tons of toppings, cheese, and the crust! Not too much crust but enough to enjoy! Chew, soft, texture, taste, yum! We had takeout. It was very hot when we got home. Lettuce was super green and crunchy. Nothing wilted all very fresh. Fettuccine soft, cheese, and good. The restaurant was very clean, staff was nice. The girl at the front was nice, made us feel welcome. The only hard time is parking, But that has to do with us and having a very large pick up truck. The street parking was full and quite away down the road. Parking behind the restaurant is awkward with our truck. Cars will have no problem. Thank you for a great dinner, and great value. It was well worth...
