Jatanna is an amazing piercer! I am terrified of needles and was so nervous to get some new piercings since I was a kid. After reading the positive reviews, I talked myself into it. I was still incredibly nervous, but she made me as comfortable and confident in the process as possible. The entire experience was top notch! She was incredibly patient talking me through the process and making sure we got the placement of my new piercings just right. The first piercing itself was relatively easy, and I swear I didn’t even feel the second one. She did an excellent job all around and the healing process was smooth and easy, far superior to the painstaking process I went through trying to heal my piercings done at Claire’s as a child. She was also very kind and helpful with any follow up questions. Ask for the numbing cream in you are nervous like me. It only works on the outer layers of the skin so won’t numb all the tissue, but I think it definitely helped with the actual pain as well as the mental lead up. WHAT A GEM! I called to schedule an emergency appointment.. yes, I said it.. an emergency. My hair was botched less than a week before my wedding day (brassy blonde with literal green ends), so I called around frantically. Jatanna (the owner) offered to take me the very next day! I was terrified since this would now be the 3rd attempt at a caramel balayage. This angel of a woman painstakingly analyzed my hair, matched the colors I requested, whipped up her magic potion, used it as a training opportunity for her employees, and confidently dove right in. I got my hair cut here by Jatanna a few months ago but wanted to leave a review because she did a very good job and the salon has a positive environment as well. I remember not even knowing very well what cut I wanted but Jatanna was very good about giving me ideas while also listening to mine. Apart from that, after my haircut I was unsure about how a part of my hair looked and ended up calling back to see if they could adjust it. They were more than willing to help me out, and I ended up not having to go back anyways because I realized I was overanalyzing.
