So the Circle K part of this truckstop needs to learn customer service. I'm a truck driver and I decided to shower here. They gave me a key for the shower. I went and put my stuff now and realized there weren't towels. I walked out without realizing the door automatically locks behind you to go get towels then I realized the door was locked and I couldn't get back in. I asked Person at the front counter if they could open the door with a spare key, turns out they didn't have a spare key. He called the manager who proceeded to tell him that it would be on me to call locksmith and pay for it to have them come open the door. It is not out on the customer at all to hire a locksmith to open your door. You are supposed to have spare keys for your showers if they are key operated, I asked the kid for the manager's name. He refused to give it to me which I have a right to have if I'm asking who told you to tell me to call locksmith The fact that they didn't have a spare key is baffling. Granted the kid did get the door open for me with a credit card. If he did not, I would have had to call the police which interior would've made them get a locksmith here because at that point if they refuse to hire a locksmith to get my property back, it would become the the property for not getting in the shower open for me to retrieve my personal belongings. Honestly, I already overpaid for the shower that begin with $12 to shower. It's pretty insane to stand under the water for five minutes. The restaurant part of this place is great. I hope the manager that runs to Circle K reads this. I will be contacting the corporate building and letting them know about the situation. And the fact that he tried to make me pay out of my own pocket to open a door in...
Read moreSick of coming in here and having to deal with one certain employee(Heavyset light haired kid with glasses and a weak mustache, sometimes a beard).
Hes consistently rude and deeply unpleasant to interact with. Had many encounters with this guy and not once has it been a positive experience. Every other employee is super nice and have treated me well over the years. However when I come in and see this guy working I almost just want to turn around and go to a different gas station.
The first couple times I gave the benefit of the doubt, cause everyone has bad days but I really think this guy is just a jerk everyday. If someone acted like this at any other job they'd be fired but somehow this guy is kept around to abuse customers daily.
Extremely impolite and just comes across as a spoiled brat that hates his job and life and thinks its ok to treat paying customers poorly to feel better about himself. I'd suggest he needs some intensive customer service training or a boot out the door at this point.
No idea how a person like this gets a job dealing with customers, its like shooting your business in the foot having an employee like this around.
This was my favorite gas station for years and aside from this guy its actually great but I think I've had my fill dealing with...
Read moreMy husband and I are truck drivers and stopped here to eat and swap out. It was a cold and blustery night around 3 degrees and snowing. The women's rest room was large and kept clean, considering the snow everyone was trekking in. The restaurant, Marlin's, was packed and fairly busy when we arrived, but we were still seated immediately and our server came to us promptly. He was the most cheerful server we've had in a long time. The food was served quickly and was pretty good. Our server was busy with some large tables, but he was attentive and always there if we needed anything. The only reason why I give this a 4 is that the parking for trucks here isn't the largest (probably a medium size) and a tad awkward to get to the fuel island if you need fuel for a big rig. We got there around 6 PM and on a nasty night, so it might have been more packed than usual. Other than the parking the service at the restaurant and in the C-store was excellent! We plan on stopping here again and would highly...
