Well, this is my second time going into this ffl dealer . The first time was not so bad I just couldn't get anybody to help me out but the second time i had to deal with one armed willy. I told him up front That I didn't need nor did I even really want a handgun, but I wanted to buy one anyway. So I walked over and I started looking at all of the pistols, and then he came over there so I started joking around, and the whole time that he was there, he acted like he had something better to do than to provide me with any answers or any help period! So when I went to go, look at the shotguns, which I originally came there to purchase i got to the edge of the counter, and I heard him say something real quiet, like, so I turned around and asked him, what'd you say? And he said oh nothing! I would repeat what he said on here. But I don't think that's appropriate, and neither is what he said to me,or better yet at me! So when he wouldn't tell me what he said, I walked out the door and proceeded to go to cabelas, and just purchased my shotguns, there! The point to this whole story is to not treat people. Badly, because you think that they are not gonna purchase anything! A lot of people go into ffl dealers not knowing what they are doing so they need help and maybe a little understanding that they are new to this, which they will not get here At sodak! At least not with one...
Read moreI was genuinely excited to visit this location during my road trip to the West Coast. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t meet those expectations. Upon entering, I couldn’t shake the feeling of being looked down upon — possibly due to the color of my skin — and I didn’t feel particularly welcomed. The front desk associate came across as abrasive. While that may just be their personality, having worked in the firearm industry myself, I know how important it is to be professional and approachable — especially as the first point of contact in a store.
As I walked around and checked out several rifles that caught my interest, I kept reflecting on that initial interaction. It left a lasting impression, and ultimately, I decided not to move forward with a purchase. To be honest, I came in ready to buy a Wilson Combat rifle that very day.
It’s disappointing to leave empty-handed — not because of inventory or pricing, but because I didn’t feel like a valued customer. Experiences like this make you wonder if things might have gone differently had I looked a...
Read moreI bought a new 9mm Ruger pistol for my wife for Christmas before Thanksgiving. Did a test fire of it after purchasing. The firearm was defective out of the box, and brought it back. It took the gunsmith over a month to even look at it, to determine that it had to be sent to Ruger to be repaired. They didn't even bother to call me after it came back from Ruger. Got the gun back after Christmas. They lost a lot of future sales and business from me as I will take my...
