Don't buy for the sake of longevity! Horrible customer service that was extremely humiliating. After seeing their products, I decided to buy some for my birthday as a treat for myself, but after this experience, I am completely turned off. Please keep in mind that there is a 30-day return policy that includes any damages. After moderate use, every Saturday for about three weeks a clasp broke on my purse strap. Given that their products are more expensive, one would expect a good return/exchange policy. There wasn't any. Be aware that they will not accept anything back if something breaks or is damaged. I went into the store to show them the damage and ask if I could get a new clasp or if there was any other way to fix my problem. When I brought the product into the store to show the employees that my clasp was indeed broken after moderate use, they accused me of purchasing it online and bringing it in for a return/refund. I am so embarrassed that they would accuse me of purchasing something online just to get a refund. To add to my embarrassment, they accused me of being "too hard" on their product, which I don't believe after only three full days of use. After this humiliating experience, I called another friend to inform her of the service, and she confirmed that she had the same experience and customer service. Horrible. You'd think that with such good branding and products on the higher end, they'd have better customer service that's consistent with their brand, or at the very least a better return policy. Black Door Studio is fantastic! I highly recommend stopping in this boutique when searching for anything from home décor to clothing and accessories. While searching for the perfect gift, the staff was exceedingly helpful and kind as they assisted me with my purchase. They took the time to offer gift suggestions along with showing me what cute new items they had in stock. I ended up buying two pairs of statement earrings. One as a gift for my friend and I couldn’t resist getting a pair for myself....

Wow!! When I saw the adorable purple padded envelope I was wondering what I had ordered. No one sends cute envelopes these days. Upon opening, I realized I had literally just ordered these items Wednesday and they’re here on Friday. Incredible! The products are so high quality and the hand written note and stickers were just the icing on the cake. Cheryl knows how to make a gal feel like she spent her money in a good place.
