Thai chilli by siam — Restaurant in Mobile

I just did a review ripping the downward spiral of their parent company on Hillcrest. And this one is even worse. Absolute Trainwreck: missing ingredients on everything. I find it insulting that they thought improper substitutions would suffice, like adding sugar to Tom Yum! Let me just say, that if you eat here and think you are getting authentic Thai or anything even close, you are sadly misinformed culturally on what Thai food should be and how amazing it really is when done properly. I was actually embarassed when I got home and tasted a few items. Embarassed that someone thought I would be foolish enough to accept this mess as OK. And it really does hurt me to leave a bad review like this because I think Thai are culturally the most beautiful people...

This was my second visit to Thai Chilli everything was phenomenal on my first visit. We were met at the door by Chris, our waiter from our first visit who recognized us as we entered greeting us by our first names. I came back eager to try the Tom Kah soup, Beef LoMein and Massaman curry which my friend had eaten on our first visit and loved it. All the dishes were amazing, fresh and seasoned perfectly. Where do I begin? The food is phenomenal. Great portions for the cost. The taste is the best in Mobile. The service is amazing. I mean really really amazing. We are big sticklers on never running out of water to drink, we literally never had nothing short of half a glass of water. Highly recommend and cannot wait to come back...
