This place is absolutely horrible we have been here for almost 6 hours waiting on X-ray and CT scan results. The staff doesn't communicate they were about to discharge my husband until he reminded him about his CT scan along with the results to his X-rays then they were like oh yeah let's get you back there just for him to wait in their little waiting room for a few more hours this is ridiculous then I try and use the bathroom no toilet paper no paper towels wet floor and what looks to be wet toilet paper all over the place well I guess people were using toilet paper to dry their hands since there was no paper towels either. While sitting there waiting even longer the nurse had more of an issue about a man walking his service dog to the waiting area stopped everything to find out if that man had service papers which I believe is against the law for the disability act and by the way the dog was wonderful never barked never growled didnt do a thing but what it was supposed to do and was trained to do. One nurse comes out of one of the doors to call a patient her lipstick must not have been on to her liking cuz she stopped in her tracks to fix herself half these nurses look like they should be in a club not a hospital tight clothing and worried about more of their makeup than patient care. I'm not trying to nitpick at every little thing but this is a hospital you think it would be ran more efficiently than my honest opinion I got way better care when I was receiving Medi-Cal Taipei almost $400 every 2 weeks for my insurance and this is utterly ridiculous and on top of that while waiting in the waiting room security comes in and informs us that we all have to leave that don't have a wristband and wait outside yes in the heat or we can wait in the cafeteria which is ridiculous I'm with my husband who is hurt phone's dead because we've been here so long and none of their charging stations work which is absolutely ironic why even have charging stations if they don't work so now I have to play a guessing game when my husband's going to be out cuz I can't sit with him sitting out here in the heat waiting in my car so I can charge my phone. Honestly I would have stayed on medical over this but unfortunately I make too much. I also watched a young woman be willed out into the outside waiting room with 102 temperature she was given a barf bag...

As someone who works in this hospital, I didnāt expect to find myself in the ER as a patient. I made the conscious decision not to let anyone know I was an employeeāI didnāt want the staff to feel intimidated or hesitant in caring for me. I simply wanted to be treated like any other patient.
From the moment I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. I was first assisted by the front desk clerk, followed by the triage nurse, and then brought to a room to wait for the doctor. Though I had to wait a bit, I didnāt mind at all. I understood there were many patients needing care and that everyone was doing their best.
When the doctor came in, she took the time to discuss the possible causes of my symptoms. I then had my blood drawn and was sent for a CT scan. The staff in the CT area were incredibly kind and professional. They noticed I was a bit anxious and took the time to explain the procedure clearly, helping me feel more at ease.
After the scan, I was wheeled back to the waiting area. Before my name was even called, I had a feeling something serious was going on and that surgery would likely be needed. When the doctor confirmed this, she explained the plan of care thoroughly and answered all of my questions with patience and empathy.
A nurse then moved me to an observation room. I could tell she was hesitant to inform me that Iād need to stay there until my surgery, likely because she knew the space wasnāt ideal. The hospital was full, and there were no available rooms. Despite that, the three nurses who cared for me in observation were wonderful. They checked on me frequently and made sure I was as comfortable as possible.
As surgery time approached, every staff member I encounteredānurses and doctors alikeāwas amazing. They reassured me, acknowledged my stress and fear, and made sure I was well-informed and supported throughout the process. Even in the recovery room, the care remained exceptional. The nurses there were just as attentive, compassionate, and skilled.
Looking back, I couldnāt have asked for a better team. Even though they didnāt know I was part of the hospital staff, they treated me with the highest standard of care. Iām incredibly grateful and proud to be part of a place where patients are truly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf youāre pregnant, try your hardest to go else where. The prenatal department is horrible. Dayana Lopez-Peguero MA she is the one that makes appointments, she is beyond rude. She falsifies documentation to protect her job. On my chart note from my appointment she wrote that I was declining and yelling when that wasnāt the case. She called and stated they didnāt have an appointment for the current month and I would have to be seen the next month. Asked if I declined an appointment for this month⦠asked how I was able to decline if there was nothing to offer. She was actually the one that started lecturing me about missing an appointment for the month prior. When I advised her I went to the appointment, you could tell she didnāt review my chart..as she quickly did stated āoh, well thatās not us thatās the other sideā ( Iām a high risk pregnancy. I reported to the same department, just walked into a different door.) I looked at my app and there wasnāt an apt set for their side. When I told her she was frustrating me by her accusations and the lack of communication from this department she replied rudely then you can talk to my manager ( who has never contacted me) and she hung up on me. I reviewed my chart notes from the appointment and they are made up. I hope she knows that itās illegal to lie on chart notes. As for the rest of the department they do not have structure and their communication skills are poor. They also never sign orders, and the poor lab has to constantly contact the department and tell them to have them sign⦠which makes the lab appearance a lot longer. Iāll be requesting to speak to the department lead and due to the nature I will be delivering at another hospital if they can not correct their errors and correct my delivery date to what has been document. Added note your set ob is not your delivery doctor. They are by on call delivery only. Kaiser offers midwives, which doesnāt mean anything due to they are not in there with you and itās still on call. ( As I was informed by my ob) also Iāve read the review about āDeborahā the person that replies to the reviews. Iām not interested in your reply this will be actually addressed due to legal matters that this department is creating and is...
