I went into Macy's Saturday the 29th at 330pm when I check out. I had 2 orders and the lady put them into bag covers and apparently didn't tight the bottom to one. When I got home I notice my top was missing but the hanger was there no top so I guess it fell out on my way out to the upstairs parking. I went back they were closed. I made several attempts to get ahold of someone but no one ever answers the darn phone. Ext 2935 So now I'm out of $ plus the top I bought. I got my receipt and was told when I went back there was nothing they could do. I ask them you have cameras and she didn't know. I fund that hard to believe. Not only was she rude she acted like she didn't care and told me I can just buy another one. Why should I pay for another top ,when I trusted that they secure my stuff. So I will no longer purchase anything unless it's in a bag. But Macy's really needs to train their customers service people better. Again, I hate the fact I did everything to see what can be done. And no help from anyone at Macy's and I really believe they have cameras. So ladies I would say may sure your items are secure. Not happy about being out $.. or the...
Read moreThe woman working upstairs by the dress department with super pretty blonde curly hair checked me out and made sure I knew I only had 24 hours to return the item I wanted to buy and I really appreciate her doing so as well as explaining why she was also super friendly and nice person !
On the other hand Macy’s in my mind has always been a fancy upper class store but it’s starting to look like a Marshall’s or something. There is just clothes hanging everywhere with no real order making it really hard to shop, but then I’m other sections of the store it is very organized still. I also had an issue with some of the dressing rooms was the lack of locks maybe this is a safety reason, but I felt very vulnerable trying on things and knowing someone could burst in at any moment. Also there was no where to hang my clothes and both my mom and I were shopping so whoever was trying in the other had to hold the clothes all the hooks were full of other ppls left over clothes and the go back rack was nearly impossible to hang anything else on I typically put my own clothes back anyhow but the fact that even if I wanted to I couldn’t leave it...
Read moreI already did a review about my bad experience. The same day, I went upstairs to the cookware department to look for a housewarming present for my son, who'd recently gotten his first apartment. As my husband and I looked around, a nice associate walked up to greet us. W e were going to just briefly look and leave. However, we browsed longer because this sales associate was so friendly and knowledgeable! His name was David. He inquired about what we were looking for, the price range, and what we had cooked with before? He ended up showing us several choices and a cooking set that was perfectly priced. David was absolutely amazing. He told my husband he could go get the car and drive up to the door so he could load it. After I purchased the merchandise, David told me to join my husband, and he'd bring the box to our car. He made my previous bad experience at Macy's twenty minutes early, forgettable. His knowledge, personality, honesty, and customer service were outstanding! Thanks, David! Happy...
