(Sigh) While the storefront and some of the staff is pleasant it’s not that way across the board. Rebekah who was responsible for helping me coordinate our private candle bar party was so slow to respond and made it seem as though she was being bothered by the questions I had prior to booking a $690.00 private experience. Nonetheless we were successful and excitedly anticipated the day of. Unfortunately our anticipation and excitement was met by Aime a lackluster employee who was not happy to assist or be a part of our experience. She seemed irritated as she lethargically navigated through the process. Instead of requesting the attention of our group of 14 people she would start talking and expect immediate silence and attention. She would stop talking mid conversation and just glare at people in conversation who didn’t realize she had begun speaking. While the place looks cute and smells nice it’s not worth it at all. You can buy a candle anywhere, it’s all about the experience for me. If it wasn’t a team building activity with my coworkers the experience might’ve been a complete loss. We recently brought a group of 19 people from our company to Mobaak for a candle-making workshop, and it was such a fantastic experience! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our large group. They were courteous, kind, encouraging, and extremely helpful every step of the way. Everyone felt comfortable and supported, even those of us who had never tried candle-making before.

The candles themselves are amazing, the fragrances are clean, non-toxic, and harmless, which made the process even more enjoyable knowing we were creating something safe and high-quality. The space was also perfect for a group event. We were able to bring in and enjoy our own lunch without any issue, and there was still plenty of room to spread out and make candles comfortably.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this store. I purchased a candle that was damaged when I opened it. When I tried to return it, the staff were completely evasive and refused to provide a refund or even attempt to resolve the issue. Their attitude was shockingly bad—rude, dismissive, and completely unconcerned about customer satisfaction.

It’s clear they don’t care about their customers or their reputation. If you’re considering shopping here, save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else where your business is valued and issues are handled professionally.

I strongly advise others to avoid this place. There are plenty of stores that will treat you with respect and provide better quality products and service.
