I had an appointment today at 4:20 pm and my dad is a stroke patient and somehow our car wasn’t working and I hired uber and the guy arrived 29 minutes( usually it takes 15) but the road construction there in McFarland. He somehow managed to get there at 4:30 and it was 10 minute late and the lady and nurse didn’t allow us to see the doctor cleavands. My dad usually take long time to get dressed and ready and it took me days to convince him to see doctor. He wasn’t having him and beg them to let us see the doctor but they reject and ask to reschedule. No empathy for elderly and disabled. We explained every detail and there isn’t single patient except us and there is still 50 minutes to close the clinic. I request to all staff be more patient and adjust here and there because not every situation and patient condition are same. You are in medical field if you don’t show up any empathy and kindness then this job is not right for you. Yes, we took uber back and my dad doesn’t want to see doctor again and unfortunately as a caregiver and a daughter I have to convince him days and nights...
Read moreAfter working in health care for over 30 years, I now see how health care has changed. We are not patients like a few years back. We are numbers,$ signs. In the last 2 weeks after a physical, received test results and needed a biopsy. Ok fine. Get this done . After more lab tests NO communication from the doctor, and after a week the nurse gives me a lame excuse and still no information on what's going on. Can't talk to doctor. Then told I'm being sent to a specialist, yet have no idea , What is wrong. Nobody will tell me anything. Wait another week and have to call the specialist to find out what's happening. They say they will get someone to call me. Nope call back and am told I need athe soonest appt. Again nobody tells me jack. Then finally a person calls to tell me, well just come back in a yr, let's hope your body takes care of the issue. WHAT ISSUE.. NOBODY WILL TELL ME. So here I sit with all this and no ansures. Totally unexcptable. They all should be ashamed. Me I don't trust anyone anymore how cruel to leave...

When I presented my Physical Therapist referral Melissa changed the requirement: "Oh, then I'm sorry we need a doctor referral". When I asked her why she said I needed a doctor referral in the state of Wisconsin -- she said it was our policy. So I guess Wisconsin PT Law called Direct Access that allows patients to be evaluated and treated by a licensed physical therapist without obtaining a referral or a prescription from a physician doesn't matter to Central Scheduling. Melissa then changed the requirement and said I needed a Physical Therapist referral for an appointment and I should call...
