Lisa Bayliss was my Britt’s Sales Associate in Britt’s Monroe GA store. We were building a house in Jefferson, GA. My builder, Cox Classic Homes uses Britt’s as their recommended supplier. Of course we were looking for quality appliances, flooring and tile. In keeping within our budget I was concerned at first with price and had never shopped at Britt’s. I have lived in the Metro Atlanta area for 73 years and had never been in Britt’s. I knew who they were, but never realized how large they were and how good the quality of their people were. I have never owned anything but 100% GE Appliances in my adult life and I made it clear to Lisa that I wanted to keep our house all GE because of the few problems I had in my life and the after support of GE. Lisa stuck with me all the way and made the entire process easy and fell within our budget. We did this well ahead of the house completion date. We made our selections, got a competitive price and they stored the products in their warehouse for over 6 months. They delivered the products on time, properly installed them and I had one very small hiccup which Lisa is handling now. Lisa absolutely has her “eye on the ball”, knows who the customer is and does everything she can to make the entire process painless. While I am “reviewing” I woukd like to acknowledge Lisa’s team mate “Tammy” who was also available to give good help. When you go to Britt’s Monroe and work with Lisa and Tammy you will feel like you are shopping at home and are the only customer they have.
Additionally Britt’s has a great selection of tile and LVP flooring. Lisa also did a great job with that. Lisa will “hang with you” and show you color combos that will ensure you make a good decision in regard to color, style and quality without breaking the bank.
Lisa Bayliss and Tammy at Britt’ Monroe will make your buying experience on Appliances, flooring and tile painless. There is no comparison with some of the Big Box stores...
Read moreLet me start by saying the sales person Lisa was great to work with and she was very much customer service focused.
We purchased an appliance package for a remodel we were working on. After purchase there was not a call prior for a delivery window / timeframe. On the day of delivery, I get a call at 7am were at the house, we wanted to get started early the text read, what is lockbox code.
The home the appliances were for, was vacant and being renovated. I tried calling the number back but no answer. Only text.
We put plastic down from our side door because the hardwood floors were just refinished. The delivery guys decided to use the front door instead of the side which is 10 steps to place appliances in kitchen. The side was wide enough we measured both entrances and the existing appliances were actually larger.
You know what happens the floors got scratched up and it didn't need to happen. It was like the delivery guys tried to write there name in the floor by pushing the stove or fridge on the floor.
I called the sales person and she immediately apologized, she listened and asked for photos. In the END Britts provided the appliance cords at no charge and paid for the repair to the floors. I was pleased with the outcome. But this could have been prevented and avoided if the delivery person would have answered when I tried calling back and or called me after I texted please call me. I went with Britts due to the pricing being less than HD and the sales person communication efforts.
I may give them another chance when we decide to do our next remodel, I am not sure yet. We do about 6-8 home flips a year. That's 6 -8 appliance packages...
Read moreDefinitely NOT professional. Paid just under $4,000 for finish in place hardwood flooring. Salesman Andy promised vacuums on all equipment for dust control--there were no vacuums on any equipment, and dust was a real problem. When I questioned him about it, his response was a glib "Oh, I forgot about that."
Two-man crew nailed down the new hardwood flooring, and installed a board in the middle of the floor with a major defect. Also left a gap between flooring and base trim that shoe mold would not cover. Both had to be patched. Patches on a new floor . . . after three coats of finish had been applied.
Shoe mold installation was the sloppiest I have ever seen. No coping of inside corners, large gaps on all corners. And shoe mold was an item I paid for on the quote. The installer, Eric, told me he would cope the inside corners, then proceeded to install them without coping cuts and gave me an exasperated eye roll when I asked about it.
Talked to Matt Britt and he said they are not professional trim carpenters and that was the best that they could do. Why include something on the job that they have no intention of installing properly?
When speaking with the salesman Andy and Matt Britt, they only wanted to argue and gave the impression they didn't care about quality, professionalism or customer satisfaction.
Salesman Andy promised to have Tony Britt call me the next day, but I received no call.
I paid for the job in full--didn't ask for any discount--and all I expected was a professional job done right.
In spite of the claims made on their web site, Britt's is not the place for a...
