Monroe Antiques Mall — Local services in Monroe

We were in Monroe for a quick one day visit. We stopped in here and this place was fair / average. He has a lot of SQFT and it's organized nice. HOWEVER, when we were leaving we asked if there were any other antique stores in the area and we were told no. In fact, his exact words were 'No, were the best and the only one in town'.

Not true, there are 3 more that we found (one of them only open on Saturdays), all within a block of each other. We asked each of them the same question and we were given honest, enthusiastic, community-minded answers.

As I stated, this shop is OK, the prices seemed good. Just don't take him...

Nice shop in Monroe downtown. A decent variety of vintage items. Some things seem a bit pricy but there are a lot of different collectible categories represented and decent deals to be found. The staff was very friendly on our visit and we did find a couple of nice things. Worth a visit if you are touring the area. On street parking and a lot behind the business...

Nice enough store, but the reason for the poor review is because of the old man at the counter. I watched an interaction with a young mother and he was VERY rude. She asked to leave something at the counter while she looked around more. He told her she should just leave because she didn't know what she was doing. She remained polite and certainly didn't...
