NO display of this microwave!! NO explanation of features or functions! I bought an Amana microwave in December 2021 and finally my other one went out five months later so over memorial day weekend my husband installed it. Upon seeing the bottom of the microwave for the first time since there was not one on display I saw the stovetop light was in the very back of the microwave. This light shines great on the back of my stove where the knobs are but doesn’t make its way into pots that are on the front of the stove and poses a shadow still on the back burners. We called and they had nothing with the light toward the front but I don’t know that they would’ve been willing to trade I just know that we are stuck with a microwave we don’t like. Plus, NO ONE TOLD ME that if your food sits in the microwave for a few minutes and you want to reheat you have to open the door and close it again for it to start heating. The store was great when Mr. Perry Daniel was alive and ran it but it’s definitely not the same store anymore and the woman in charge is not willing to help out at all after the sale! This is the reason for the two stars. I called SEARS hometown store in Crossett Arkansas and found what I needed and they were super nice and if the color or anything is not right They will gladly refund my money!!
The woman I am referring to is the one that your employee and I will not name names, but he went back to the back office to see if she would do anything to help out since I was unhappy with the microwave and she would not do anything! Not only is it not the color that I needed I was forced to use it for six months until I found one in the bisque color that I needed and I’m stuck with this Amana microwave and the cost of buying two microwaves, one of which I don’t need! No one could even tell me the functions of this microwave because there was not one on display so I should’ve known just to walk out...
   Read moreReally needed a lift recliner..really bad. They had one but could not sell it because the manager forgot to price it and was off . Seems he was unavailable and beyond the reach of technology. I was forced to go back the next morning because of covid induced furniture shortage they are the only ones I could get what i desperately needed. Once we arrived there wasn't much of a show of empathy or apologies for all the trouble we went through. Just here it is, we will load it up. This was over a $1k purchase so i was at least expecting some remorse and possibly something...anything for my second trip.
This is why people buy online, no real expectations of customer service other than accurate AI generated responses.
They get 2 stars only because their best person Hazel gets 5 stars and the two guys that loaded me up were nice.
Allen and the other follicle challenged guy get negative ratings so thank goodness for Ms Hazel.
