Butler and the Board — Local services in Montclair

For the discerning taste buds, this is a must stop. I have recently partaken in the Wednesday night dinner order and pick up. It is a great value for the price and the food is varied and exceptionally prepared.

I am also part of the monthly charcuterie club. I will say that the variety and setup for a few stings is great. It has also provided a nice variation into some things I wouldn't have ordinarily tried. Highly recommend.

Lastly, it is a family owned and run shop. I like to shop local where I can and have been in and ordered from this place several times.

I visited this spot recently and found the sandwich to be decent, although slightly overpriced for what it offers. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. The attitude of the woman who attended to me was noticeably unwelcoming and fell below the level of professionalism. I would expect from a customer-facing role. I believe every guest deserves a courteous and respectful experience, and I hope the management takes steps to improve...

Found this wonderful locally owned and operated meat shop. The meats - pastrami , porchetta, mortadella are house made, as well as the sausages and ricotta cheese. The daily special were delicious - pastrami hash and porchetta sandwich. Definitely making this a weekly spot. Have to try their Wed and Thursday...
