I have been coming to this store for almost 11 years now. It has always been my go to market and it has gotten better and better as time goes on. To start, the employees that work here are professional, and have a good work ethic. I say this because of a few reasons. Each of them equally important. # 1 My husband has left his wallet here twice ( both times in a random produce bin, once a customer turned it in to management and once an employee found it) in the last ten years and dropped it once in front of Mr Yous. He received his wallet back every time. With everything in it. Integrity is truly priceless. # 2 The employees are quick to offer assistance to any customer. I have had a motorized cart die on me in the middle of the store and a bagger got all of my items to the register and items to car for me. Every time they offer to help. Bring groceries out and put them in the trunk. Neither one of us got around so well these last few years. The gift of compassion is also priceless. 3 The thing that made me start liking stater bros was they way the keep their produce department. Seriously. They care about every single piece of produce they put out on the floor. I guarantee you will not find any fruit that is bruised or battered. You won’t find bugs ( had bad experiences with bugs at food for less with fruit flies in West Covina and Aldi in Upland with worms in the raspberries. I will never in life eat a raspberry again it was like a very very bad dream) no bugs or worms or bruised or rotting fruits or veggies. The store is clean and was just remodeled beautifully within the last year or two and has added a sushi counter and a fabulous bakery. Parking is great and you will never have to go looking in the parking lot for a cart, stater bros wants your business and you better believe that there are always carts sanitized and lined up and even come in two sizes, standard and small. Good practices makes for good business and Stater Bros Montclair has a great team running the show there so five stars because that’s the most...
Read moreRight now , for some unknown reason the are also a delicatessen and have food ready to eat that can not be purchased at a normal Grocery store. An excellent choice of the latest and greatest batteries for your electronics .Other pastries and sea food delicacies are made in their store-completely fresh! You can skip "Traders Joes," Stater Bros. will have better. They will order for you if at all possible. Previously the Stater chain was with the Democrats and now current President Joe Biden. However much of their discount food was stale and caused the shopper to puck_ it-out at home. Now most of their items are sealed and checked before placed on the selves. The same problems occurred with the 7-11 chain and may still be there to some small extent. The only thing I know their helpful Harrys wear the color of pink and are avid buyers of the Sketcher's tennis shoes with the upside-down victory insignia! The parking lot is the smallest that I have ever seen. Using the disabled spots does not help-you simply receive light dents on your doors as opposed to heavy dents. Two men lead Donald Trump and then Joe Biden and over the...
Read moreI frequently wonder how Stater Bros. can justify the prices for their produce. It always looks like it's gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson and had to be put in a medically induced coma to recover. Their prices on most non-food items are on par with most grocery stores, which is about + $1-3 more than you would pay at Target or Walmart. Their selection is limited for most food items, which means a few big name brands and then their own brand. If you just need basic items, Stater Bros. will have something- it might not be the quality you're used to, but it will probably have the item. Their meat selection is very limited compared to other grocery stores. If you're shopping for meat, shop elsewhere. Same with bakery and deli items, most Stater Bros. don't have a dedicated counter for them to be ordered from, just a cold case or a few shelves.
So, if you have an option, go to a different grocery store. If you don't, you'll probably find some form of what you're looking for at...
