Express — Local services in Montebello

The staff here were incredibly rude. Specifically the manager working Saturday August 30th 2025 at the Montebello Mall location in California. She did not greet us with a smile. I understand it’s not LV where they treat me like a Princess lol however you still expect a smile from a store employee. Especially the manager. Her tone was unfriendly as she explained the exchange policy. 30 days from online purchase. Okay. I’ll give away my purchases. As we’re exiting the store, my daughter and I were having a closed conversation where she said the store policy was bad. I don’t think so, but my daughter is entitled to her opinion. Anyways, the manager of this store yells over to us and says “it’s not bad. It’s company policy”. One, we were not speaking to her so she was ease dropping. Two, it is not her place to argue with a customers opinion while she is on the clock. She was very unprofessional. We left without joining her theatrics. How embarrassing for her. By the far the rudest store my family & I have ever been too! Just yesterday my sister and I walked into the store and asked a store attendant if they had any more tights, immediately the store attendant (in blue jeans white shirt black boots and short black hair) turned around and told my sister yes but not in your size. With out anyone asking for a size!!! How can someone who works in a clothing store say something like this!! Especially coming from Express that has been working in expanding clothing to fit all body types. WORST...

Easily the rudest Express staff I've ever been "helped" by. I was askedif I was finding everything okay and asked if I could get a fitting room started- he made this eye roll, prissy face at me and then threw the clothes into the dressing room and I had to sift through them all piled up. The girl that rang me out barely said two words to me. As I finished up, I said, "I hope you have a good day" and she didn't even acknowledge it. Don't waste your time here when there's an Express...
