Harbor Freight — Local services in Montgomery Township

I absolutely love this place! If you are a DIYer like me then you will love this place too. They have every tool, gadget, indoor, outdoor , security camera, solar powered lighting, organizing, gardening, automotive, crafting, woodworking, soldering you could ask for and their prices are so good! They also have a membership sign up that saves you more money. That is a 1 year or 2 year sign up for an extra $20 or so (sorry I forget the exact amount I paid) But all that doesn't compare to their employees. They are so nice and welcoming. Always smiling and always willing to answer any question I have. They don't just ring me up when I'm ready to check out and look at me like I'm just a customer. They treat me like I'm a guest or a friend. I literally could talk to these gals for hours. They are the prime example of great customer service. For those of you that work in customer service, retail... whatever.....go to Harbor Freight in MONTGOMERYVILLE....and take notes because this is why I and many others go back to a store. Even if a store had the cheapest product high end or whatever, if their employees suck, believe me....I will not spend my hard earned money in that establishment. We have got to get this country back to the land of the beautiful. We have got to treat each other like the gifts of God that we are. Be kind to one another...say hello to a passer-by, make eye contact and smile when someone crosses your path. Wish people well, compliment a random stranger. These past years have taken a toll on every single one of us. We have degraded to stand off ish, paranoid, rude and selfish. Making fun of people, body shaming and bullying is no bueno. We all need to stop this nonsense and Come together, Unite, spread peace and love to all...

I was twice in the store this week. The staff is great. I needed help finding a shower grab bar. I could not find the item. I went over to a sales associate on the floor who was packing out merchandise. He stopped what he was doing and walked me to the item. I returned the next day and was looking for either a strong box or safe container. A different associate was on the sales floor, also stopped what he was doing and walked me to the item. Turned out I purchased a tool box case which he also walked me to. I’m a retired retail store manager. Do NOT purchase any clearance items from this location. I asked the associate how long the return policy was good for an item as I wasn't sure the bolt pattern was correct. He claimed 30 days. Which makes sense. Purchased a small engine and tried to return it 12 days later. Was treated horribly by the manager Jackie, she wouldn't even speak to me. I pulled up my bank app and looked at my purchases over the last year and I've spent a little over $14k there. So I'm not a big customer, but they've lost my business over $99.
