I cannot understand how people have good experiences here. I went twice to buy a chair and still have no chair. I went in looking for a recliner, I didnt ask for any help from a salesperson. I found the chair I wanted and only needed help to give lazyboy my money. When the salesperson came to ring me out it was nothing but bs. 1st she says I can finance the chair, then after she gets my info in the system (not financing info) she tells me I owe the balance. Like there was no conversation about financing. I ask again to finance and she starts complaining about how horrible the woman at the finance office is and she doesnt want to deal with her. She then hands me a scrap piece of paper and tells me to write down my date of birth, name, address, social. After she wants me to write down all my info, I will have to enter in my info in a machine they have for financing. So why does she need my info then? She wasnt going to enter it in the system, I was, so I guess she just needs it to steal my identity? So we leave. I call a few days later to make sure she isn't there. I go back after work to get the chair. Here we go. All I need is for the salesperson to help me give them money. The guy tells me to use the finance machine, after a few minutes he comes by and asks if its working, as if he already knew. I tell him no, its not working. We then walk to the back where the manager is, to do it online. The mngr says to him, "I told you that machine didnt work" he replies, " yeah, I know". I guess he just wanted to waste my time. Then I start to fill out the app and the mngr tells me to put in an amount that doesnt make sense. I ask, "what is sales tax here?" He replies, 6%(which I knew) and i ask how they got that amount. He then tells me the chair is a different price than it is. The tag was nice and big and the salesman had already confirmed the price with me. They took an old price tag and put it on top of the tag that was on the chair as if to try and snag a few extra $ from me. Customer service is almost extinct in society today, people who make comission should have excellent cust service. So between listening to one person complain about her job and unnecessarily trying to get my personal info and another wasting my time and trying to pull a fast one on me, i cant imagine how this lazyboy location is still in buisness. Maybe I just got the three incopitent, unprofessional, sneaky salepeople there, but I doubt it. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Lazyboy without a doubt has some of the best furniture you can buy. It would be nice if you could say the same about their employees. I will be furnishing the rest of my house with furniture NOT from lazyboy....
Read moreMy chair is beautiful and comfortable the reason for the 1 star was the manager that spoke to me on the phone and the way he spoke to me. I was texted that the chair was ready for delivery after waiting 6 months. I knew about the wait. I called to set up a time and was not offered a block of time. I was told there was no guarantee when it would be delivered. The clerk I spoke to may have been new. She didn’t sound like she knew what was going on so she gave me the manager. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name as he had a heavy accent. He was extremely rude and ignorant. Told me that he couldn’t work around my schedule. I can not be home from work till the earliest 2 pm. I asked for the delivery company’s phone number was told he couldn’t give it to me. The day before the delivery I received a text with the time and a phone number to call the delivery company if it didn’t work for me. I was told to call Lazy Boy where I bought the chair have them email them with a time to reschedule. I did that and got a different person on the phone. She said it wasn’t a problem and emailed right then. My chair was delivered right on time. It’s a great chair and well made. It was well worth the wait. I will be have knee replacement in the fall and will be living in the chair for several weeks, so purchased exactly what I wanted and needed even with the hefty price tag for an all leather recliner. Read moreWe redid our entire living room with the help of our salesman, Jeff, and our designer, Larissa. Over the past 24 years, we have had our living arranged in so many different ways and were never satisfied with any of them. When we working with Jeff on what to buy, he realized we were frustrated and introduced us to Larissa. She is AMAZING! We had a consultation in the store regarding the basics we wanted and the color scheme. Then Larissa came to our home loaded with fabric swatches and rug samples. We discussed further what we wanted in the room, how it was used and colors. Larissa measured everything in the room, took tons of photos and went back to the store. We met a few days later. Went over her plan and looked at all the pieces. We were blown away by her vision. So we ordered everything using their no interest for 12 months plan. The furniture was delivered by a great team. They kept us informed of the delivery time. When they arrived, they were friendly, polite, worked efficiently and cleaned up all the packing materials. We are enjoying our living room and can't believe it is ours! We look forward to working with Jeff and Larissa again when we redo our bedroom! Highly recommend this location as well as Jeff...
