There really is only one word to describe this restaurant and it is AMAZING! First off, the steaks are always perfectly cooked, no matter what. My wife and I, believe it or not, order takeout from here at least once a week and we have never had a bad experience! Now you might say, that's gross that someone eats out at a steakhouse that often but here is why...
I'm not going to sit here and say the food is cheap, but why on earth would I pay $40 for pizza and cheese steaks when I can get a delicious, home cooked steak dinner for the same price!! I truly don't have enough good things to say about Texas Roadhouse.
The staff is always incredibly friendly and the managers are always stopping at your table to make sure you had a good experience while dining. They are always trying to join parties and events to promote and always bring great food along as well. They have come to a few events where I work and everyone said they were the best vendor to show up. If you are having a work event, you really should contact them; I promise it'll be worth it!
Lastly, I want to thank the staff at this location specifically, for turning me into a lifelong customer. I ALWAYS preferred Longhorn over anything, but when I moved out this way and decided one day to pickup a fresh baked roll with cinnamon butter I NEVER thought about Longhorn again! If you are sitting at home right now, trying to decide where to go for dinner tonight, I suggest Texas Roadhouse, and guarantee you will come home with a full belly and a takeout menu for next time!
PROS: Steaks are cheap for the HUGE sizes they offer, Super friendly staff, Delicious tasting food, Quick takeout, Easy online ordering, They sponsor events, Great family night out
CONS: Not enough locations (some people don;t have one close by), Not open for lunch during the week, Crowded on weekends (Because its so darn good!), and not enough tables (I'm a large man and don;t always fit in a booth comfortably).
OVERALL: Go eat here tonight!! You won't...
Read moreAs I walked into the restaurant, the lively atmosphere was infectious. The rustic decor, with wooden booths and cowboy-themed accents, sets the stage for a casual yet vibrant dining experience. The air was filled with the aroma of grilling meats and baked bread, drawing me in and heightening my expectations for a great meal. The Dish: Ribs and Shrimp When my order arrived, I was first struck by the generous portions. The ribs were beautifully glazed with Texas Roadhouse’s signature BBQ sauce, glistening and inviting. As I took my first bite, the meat fell off the bone with ease, showcasing perfect cooking. The combination of smoky flavors and a sweet, tangy sauce danced on my palate, providing a rich and satisfying experience. The shrimp, grilled to perfection, were seasoned just right, offering a delightful contrast to the hearty ribs. They retained their juiciness and had a slight char that added depth to each bite. The dish was accompanied by a side of crispy fries and fresh sweet potato, which balanced the richness of the main entries. To complement my meal, I ordered a Jamaican margarita. Served in a large glass with a salted rim, it was both refreshing and vibrant. The balance of tequila, lime juice, and pineapple liqueur was spot-on, delivering a zesty kick that perfectly cut through the richness of the ribs and shrimp. With each sip, I felt the warmth of the Texas sun, making it an ideal pairing. My experience at Texas Roadhouse was nothing short of delightful. The ribs and shrimp put forth a symphony of flavors that would satisfy any meat lover, and the margarita was the cherry on top of a fantastic meal. If you’re seeking a casual dining experience filled with hearty, mouthwatering dishes and a lively atmosphere, Texas Roadhouse is certainly a destination worth exploring. All thanks to Alyssa as she moved back and forth and kept checking on me in a timely manner just to make sure i was good and satisfied.. It's a really...
Read moreWe were told 25-35 mins at 7pm on a Sunday night, makes sense. But when I and several other people have to go up and ask about the wait when there are no less then 6 people standing at the hostess stand at anytime the entire time that we waited, doesn’t make sense. Asked at the 45 min mark and was told another 10-20 mins, before I could say okay thank you the hostess went back to talking to the 5 other employees standing in a circle not doing any sort of work. Everyone seems to be short on workers but this place. They seem to have some many people working that they actually don’t need to work.
However if I could get a separate review to just our waiter I would and it would be a 5/5. Patrick was an excellent waiter and was very mature and professional unlike the front of the restaurant. He was super quick and would bring refills without us needed to ask. Very friendly and would return again if he was our waiter.
It’s unfortunate that the first impression has such a negative impact. I get that there are slow times when you can talk to others but not on a busy night when several groups are frustrated with having to wait almost double of the time they were told.
Almost forgot upon leaving we went to the bathroom and the lights shut off randomly in both rooms and won’t turn back on. Very odd.
Do better Texas Roadhouse!
