Bishop-Parker Warehouse Furniture — Local services in Montgomery

I went to Bishop Parker today looking to purchase a bed and an sectional. I saw a daybed (which was the last one). It was on sale for $799. I asked the manager would he go any lower on the price because their were red marks on an black day bed. He said the bed was made like that and tried to get smart and say it was no different then the farmhouse style furniture with the different color marks. I told him I’ve never seen a black bed that supposed to have red scuff marks. He then said well maybe the bed isn’t for you. You’re right the bed nor the store is for me to spend my hard earn coins✌🏽 I very much felt stereotyped and racially profiled today. The funny part is I was willing to buy the bed and a sectional today but I guess my money isn’t for you ✌🏽 Will never set foot in there again. I don’t understand how you a furniture store but don’t want to get rid of furniture especially if it’s the last piece 🤔...

O....M.....G I am more than pleased with my furniture purchase from Bishop Parker! We built a new home, and I only wanted the best of the best. Bishop Parker did not disappoint! Their prices were surprisingly reasonable for the furniture I wanted. They have very stylish, high-end, high-quality furniture! I walked in, told Gabby what I was looking for, and she took me right to it! Ron and Gabby were very nice and helpful throughout the entire process. They were even very responsive and cordial after the sale! The delivery guys also were very nice and took so much care when bringing my furniture in; they treated it like the high-end furniture it is; you'd think they were handling a new-born baby! I was looking to purchase a new full set of bedroom furniture and visiting this location was so disappointing. I walked around for at least 15-20 minutes. There was a man who was assisting another customer and there was a woman who wasn't doing anything. I was the only other customer in the store. No one acknowledged me at all. When I grew tired of waiting, I approached the woman and asked her about bedroom furniture. She directs me to the clearance furniture without me even telling her my price range or knowing exactly about my taste. I walked out, never again to return. Thankfully, I found another place, where the representatives are friendly and professional, and actually that wants my business. Bishop Parker is a NO for me...
