I usually don't go to Dillard's but today will be the last time I ever darken this stores doorway. My significant other was shopping for some clothes for a wedding so I decided to browse sandals as I've been needing a new pair. When we walked into the store I was immediately asked if I needed assistance, my significant other was blatantly ignored (and was not asked for the further duration of their shopping trip). I, however, was asked by every female employee near the shoes. Even the women standing 2ft away from each other asked one after the other. Which wouldn't have made me so uncomfortable if it weren't for the fact that this woman (depicted in the photo) from the perfume department rounded the corner and proceeded to follow me from one end of the shoe section to the other. I didn't want to raise a ruckus as that's not the type of person I am nor did I want to make a big deal, getting the police involved yada yada but this is not ok. I was wearing my work uniform, no purse, just a small fanny pack. I was so uneasy with the experience that we just left. I purchased my shoes from another store. And before you, store manager, corporate, or whomever feels the need to object to my being racially profiled, back off. Employees don't just follow you around to wait on your hand and foot. Employees don't stand a foot behind you, following you around the store (I also saw her when I went towards the clothes) checking after everything you touch nor do they get scared when they see your phone out to take a picture. She knew what she was doing....
Read moreMarch 29,2021 Very Rude Macs makeup consultant Brittney👎👎👎👎👎 Went in to get a shade test to match my skin tone, so I could purchase makeup in the Macs department. There was no one in the department, so I asked the cashier across in the Brahmins department if she knew where the person working in the Macs department was. She was very nice and helpful and helped me find her standing across in the other makeup department, talking to another consultant. Her name was Brittney she was not pleased to assist me, or that we stopped their conversation. She did not smile was not talkative, and treated me as if I was wasting her time.I asked questions she would pick a item up and give it to me, barely saying two words. She was one of the most rudest people I have ever had to assist me, while Ive shopped at Dillard's. I still purchased a macs foundation and a new concealer, which was $67.00 dollars. Please ask your consultants to treat everyone the same. No matter what they think of us on the inside they should not show it on...
Read moreI have gone into Dillard’s on two separate occasions to return some merchandise. Both times I was told had to go upstairs for the return. Once I was upstairs waiting in line an associate said you can do that downstairs. My response to her was they told me to bring it upstairs. The second time which was at the holidays I entered the store and I was told the same exact thing that I could be helped upstairs. I then told the associate I was told you can help me downstairs. She then preceded to assist me. It’s seems there is a war going on between the employees. I called the store today to cancel an order that arrived too late for the occasion. The associate who answered the phone said I need to come into the store. My response to her was . Do I really need to come into the store just to cancel an order? I live in the rural area and the Montgomery store is the closest to me. She put me on hold , then came back to the phone and said I can do it over the phone. Why is...
