My grand baby broke the chain to an inexpensive metal necklace that I like to wear. Stopped in to ask Hatold’s for two small circle links to fix it. It just needed a new small circle link on each side to connect the chain to the 1 oz metal piece. This has happened to other necklaces in the past and I’ve gone to jewelers in B’ham and they repaired it on the spot and charged $0 - 5. This jeweler said it would take a week to repair it and an estimate of $30 - 40. I’ve dealt with a lot of high end jewelers, which this one is not, but my guess, he will not be in business long enough to reach that status with such poor customer service and attitude. This jeweler and staff could greatly benefit from a course in good business / customer...

Very friendly customer service. I went in to have my 10-year-old watch battery replaced. They quickly informed me that because my watch used a non-standard rechargeable battery, it needed a special battery from the factory. I was given some very helpful advice to try to see if I could get it up and running on my own, before sending it in to the factory. If mine wasn't a specialty watch, I have no doubts they would have it back up and running in no time since they seemed very knowledgeable. They even cleaned my watch at no charge. Very friendly...

Hours listed on facebook page and on Google are inaccurate. Website provides no information on business hours. I stopped by about 1pm on a Thursday (according to business hours posted on Google) and there was a ‘Closed’ sign in the window with a note that said appointment only. Because of other good reviews, I wanted to ask about having a ring designed, but will go elsewhere after wasting time leaving work and fighting traffic because this business can’t even manage to find a moment to post updated open hours, appointment only, etc....
