The most judgmental dentists and dental assistants I have ever come in contact with. They talk to you like you don't know what you're talking about and don't care at all about how they male you feel. They compare you to every other person they've ever worked on but don't understand the basics that not all people are the same. If you have disabilities they don't care. If you complain at all they tell you your complaints aren't valid and refuse to understand why everyone is different. Horrible doctors and horrible staff. I would never send anyone I know to be mistreated and abused by their staff. They will not give you anything for pain even if you have a note from your main doctor that says to give it to you. I had 2 teeth pulled on opposite sides of my mouth and told me to take medicine I cant take and they the fire you from being a patient without being nice or even try to understand. Completely unprofessional and all they want to do is raise prices as soon as you go to check out and tell you, your the problem without even taking the time to understand what your going through nor do they care. My appointments even though I'm always early by 30 minutes, its over an hour before they even call you back. I don't understand how they are still in business. Plus I don't have dental and pay full price for everything, so you would think they would be nicer but your dead wrong. No compassion, no care for the patient, they just see us as cash cows and not human beings. I left crying so badly I had a panic attack on the way home and am seriously considering talking to a lawyer about the treatment they gave me and not even listening to how I felt. All he wanted to do was compare me to his wife, but im not her. I have serious medical problems, so instead of addressing them and try to be reassuring they berated you the whole time. Everyone else is a problem to them and they refuse to see things from others point of view or even be considerate. My mom is my care giver (I'm disabled) and the nurse literally said to my mother, that I was an adult so they don't need her. But how does that help me when my own caregiver can't be there to help me get through this. The are not accomindating and almost everyone there was rude and didn't actually what a patient is going through. I will be speaking to a lawyer. I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI checked on the United Healthcare website and App to find a dental office and dentist that was in their network. It showed several offices in the Montgomery Alabama area. Zelda Court Dental showed up as in the United Healthcare Network.
After getting the information that they were in network, I called to speak with someone at the office. On the first call I explained what my mother was looking for, flexible partials dentures. I was told her partials would be covered by her insurance so I set the first appointment on Aug. 13th 9:30am. The doctor took mouth impressions. My Mom said they had issues getting the impression. The next appointment was scheduled for Sept. 2nd 8:30am.
I expected her partials to be complet on this appointment, hut my Mom came out saying they did another impression. That indicated to me that they made a mistake on the first one. Another appointment was set Sept. 17th 11:00am.
I arrived at the office with my Mother expecting her to leave with her partial dentures, but she came back to the lobby to get her credit card to make a payment of $250.00 on a $590.00 bill she never was told about until the last minute. I asked her on the way home what about the partials, she said they fit well. So they set another appointment for Oct. 2nd 10:30am. This is 4 appointments over almost 2 months to get her partials completed. I don't know if this is what is happening, but it feels like a bait and switch tactic, then hold the finished partials hostage until they get payment. Not a good feeling. I have to drive over 3 and a half to 4 hours from Atlanta Georgia. So this is 4 times I'm having to get my Mom to an appointment and a 4 hour round-trip. It's like she's being extorted before she can receive...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo I want to give this place more stars, because there are a couple of things I like. The first is that the work seems to be pretty good. The second is that they do not try to sell me work I don't need, and the prices seem fair. The problems, however, are such that I cannot presently imagine returning when my present course of treatment is completed. I will discuss three problems here. First, the dentist who recommended my treatment is not the one who did it. It is a large shop with multiple dentists, and apparently I get whomever is on call that day. Second, they are quite patronizing. Three or four times today my dentist looked at me and explained that she needs me to floss and she won't always be able to save that tooth. I had never met her before, and she didn't have much response when I said the teeth are so close together that I physically couldn't. Third, and most significantly, they are wildly disrespectful of patient time. They were 37 minutes late today. That means I waited 48 minutes given the standard early arrival time. They were a similar amount late at my first appointment. So why did I still get there early? Because I saw them turn a patient away the first time for being 18 minutes late. Their time matters but mine,...
