Crumbl — Restaurant in Montgomery

On September 23rd I placed an online order for pickup between 5:10 - 5:40pm at the Zelda Rd store in Montgomery, AL. As I entered the store around 5:24pm there were about 5 people waiting for their orders. First of all, there was no greeting or acknowledgement of me standing at the counter for roughly 3 minutes. There were 4 individuals working ( 3 young ladies and 1 male). I asked could someone help me and a taller African American women then turned her back and asked "If I needed to place an order. I told her I had a pickup order. She immediately turned her back and continue to roll cookie dough with no response. After another minute I asked did she check on my order and she looked at me and kept working. My response was so you are going to just ignore me. She then preceeded to prepare my order. No words or apologies to me but mumblings to coworkers. I asked the male who was working who was the manager and he looked in the direction of the taller African American woman without answering my question. At this point I will not patronize this store again and will let my platform know not to patronize this store due to the rude unprofessionalism displayed.

Customer service training is something that is needed at this store.

Would of given a 5, because the product is great. Yesterday I ordered a party pack. It went well. However today I ordered 6 for my sons birthday and I asked the young man behind the counter if they could add a little bit of the butter cream icing to two chocolate I had ordered. He said icing is already on it. I said , I understand, I just wanted to add alittle dollop of the butter cream on top. He looked at me and just said "Nah" and walked off and started sweeping, Not another word. Just "Nah" It was rude and unprofessional. If I am paying $26.00 ( tip included) for 6 cookies. ( 46.00 yesterday for 12) You could put a dollop of butter cream on 2 flippin cookies!. smh. I judge my experience with a business especially on how well they treat their paying customers. This young man just put a dent on Crumbl. Paying that much for cookies to be treated like that. ...

I've been here several times and typically get the same cookies (Semi-Sqeet Chocolate Chip), but since they switch their cookie/brownie/treats every week, I rarely come. BUT, they had the Dubai Chocolate Brownie and I figured I'd try it and OMG it was worth the hype, especially if you love Chocolate like i do. 😩 They kept selling out of it during the week of Aug 20th, 2025. I had to pre-order mine and pick it up the next morning. They open at 8am and was sold out by 8:30 a.m. luckily I was able to get mine.
