We will never shop here again. We shop at this location multiple times a week due to convince and it being at the back of the neighborhood. Tonight I attempted to enter the store at 7:50 to purchase 1 item (broth) but was denied entry even though they were open until 8:00. The door was cracked and an employ told me the manager said to close early and not let anyone else in. I explained to him all I needed was broth for a dinner I’ve already started and would be out within 2 minutes, well before closing. He went to ask the manger and the manger motioned “no”. I left not very happy and called the store to let the manger know I would be calling his DM to let them know they are closing the store early and refusing customers. He immediately began to backtrack and provide an excuse of needing to stock the freezers. I asked him isn’t that something they generally do after close and he began blubbering on and sounding nervous since I mentioned I would notify his manager. Apparently it’s Saturday night and they wanted to get a jump on closing duties so they could start their weekend plans early.
