This has been the worst experience ever in this store and my last! When I got home I decided to look over my grocery receipt because it seemed higher than normal for what I had purchased. I noticed that my store card wasnât reflected in my receipt. I decided to return to the store to find out why this had happened. I met with Gretchen at the customer service desk and was greeted with a complete lack of customer service. She started out our conversation with an attitude and acted like I was bothering her. She had decided to issue a credit based on what the receipt said I would have saved with a store card, but the amount was wrong. This amount did not reflect a buy 2 get 2 free sale or any of my digital coupons. I proceeded to ask her if she could just scan the receipt like most stores and correct it from there. She said unfortunately she couldnât. Ok, I understand. Then she said that I should have scanned my card on the stop and shop app instead of entering my phone number because the app is more accurate. Apparently this has been an issue for several months now. As a customer how am I suppose to know this. I have been entering my phone number for years. Maybe a sign at the register would help. Makes me wonder how many other times this has happened to me because I donât usually look at my receipt. I will no longer be doing business with this store due to the poor customer service.    Read moreI have only started coming to this particular Stop -n-Shop for a few months since I moved in town. I find not one, but most of the employees very snobbish, rude and unprofessional in this line of customer care..The courtesy booth is the worst. My shift does not allow me to shop earlier than 8:30 p.m. So most times I ask the cashier to please download a digital coupon, they make mistakes. By the time I go to courtesy they can do nothing about the overcharge. 3 times in three shopping visits I had to come back and be inconvenienced to get my money back on other overcharged products as well. Today I came back because they were closed last night to return something and the woman made a big deal out of giving me my money back at courtesy because it was a perishable and they could not resell it. Well serves them for all my inconveniences. Other Stop -n- Shops always made it right . Not only that I bought a lottery ticket and scratched it on her counter. She wined that she just cleaned it and not to scratch it there even after I brushed it off. Not good...
