Subway — Restaurant in Montville

I'm somewhat of a regular customer. Been coming in steadily for the last year. Usually it's a great experience. Today? Not so much. There was a woman by the name Taylor working who I had never seen there before. She was such a bully to what seemed to be a very new employee learning her job. I felt so uncomfortable watching her talk to this young girl with such blatant disrespect. I felt so bad for the young girl. She was asking questions and her coworkers seemed more annoyed than anything when "assisting" her with eye rolls and under the breath comments for all customers to hear. It was so wrong on so many levels. Not to mention, a guy in line ordered 3 or 4 sandwiches and only paid $6.00 because he was fixing the cashier's phone next door and she thought he was cute... Today date 09/25/2021 a young man who works for Subway he had on a dirty baseball uniform and dirt under his finger nail he reach in to the lettuce with no gloves on to remove a piece of chicken out of the lettuce holder with bare hands. I confronted him and he replied he wash his hands which was not true. The owner of this Franchise should really be worry about cross contamination and a host of other problems like food poisoning. The Health Department will be called on Monday. Cold cuts hold bacteria and can make you really sick. The owner needs to look at his surveillance tape and retrain. The cold cut meats look wet. This is the closest subway to my area. I visit here 1-2 times a month. I went there last night 1/13/24 to get a sandwich but the two male workers were busy with a big online order. My husband and I waited about 10 minutes for them to finish up. At no point in that time did they acknowledge that we were there. One of them even went to get chips from behind us and didn’t bother to say a word. Since there was no communication I did not know how long this order was going to take so I left to go to Chilis next door.
