Food Lion — Local services in Mooresville

Food lion is my preferred grocery store. I'm in one every other day. This particular location has always been one of my least favorites. A handful of cashiers are rude or at least unpleasant. Today (11-10-18) there was a (very) elderly man giving Dunkin donut coffee samples. My 9 year old daughter wanted to check it out. He was rude the entire experience asking "which one of you is the adult " when we approached. He then dragged his feet not wanting to give her the sample. Asking if she brought her I.D. and questioning her allergies. This was not done in a joking matter at all. In fact he made my daughter incredibly uncomfortable!!! After hesitantly giving her the sample he said "if she likes them, they're on aisle 6. I'm sure she has the card." This old man obviously doesnt agree with my style of parenting. He made sure of that by being so disrespectful! He also made sure that I will drive out of my way before stopping at this particular foodlion again. I'm so disappointed in this entire...

I like the store and the proximity to my home, which is the main reason I stop there. However, I realize this is considered to be a "Concept store" and the need for efficiency of shopping for the customer, etc., and that's great, just STOP changing the damn floor layout and the reconfiguration of the aisles every month or so. I mean enough is enough! If you have to change the layout as often as you guys do, then someone needs to realize that at some point it becomes irritating instead of being helpful. I go in just to grab a couple of things and the products are no longer where they were, so a 5-10 min stop turns into 20. This is recurring at least every month or so. Dang it man...Enough is...

I usually don't right reviews but I felt like I needed to today.Mamaw And Prissy who work in self checkout, on 1st shift always I mean always treat me with respect,They have both helped me scan my groceries when I broke my thumb and today Prissy helped me find some Coke a colas that it was at some crazy endcap and not even close to the drink section.I was getting irritated but Prissy calmed me down and found them for me.That was just 1 example they are1000 more I can write .These two ladies are amazing,always has a smile on there face and always speak to me and I see her interacting with others customers and she remains being the amazing person...
