I was looking forward to my first visit to Moraga Farmer's Market because of the reviews, but I consider my $55 spent today a total waste of money.
Apricots, nectarines and peaches bought from Lee Family Farm were not particularly sweet despite being ripe. You can get similar or better tasting fruits from a local grocery store.
Cherries from J&J Ramos Farms were good but much more expensive than similar cherries from anywhere else.
But the biggest disappointment were strawberries from Rodriguez Bros Ranch. They looked good and I bought a whole box because the guy told me they were great. They were among the worst strawberries I've ever tried - tasteless and watery. Total waste of money and the seller's lie left a bad taste...
