Food Lion — Local services in Morehead City

This Food Lion are very well stocked. The fruits and vegetables are fresh there is staff always in this department making sure the presentation of these are great for the customers. Produce Department looks great! I get my organic breakfast smoothie about 3-4 days out of the week at this location. The Meat Department if you catch him putting out fresh meat throughout the day you might catch some deals. Not all of the time but if you try your luck you might hit the jackpot. Dairy Dept is very well clean and stocked. The bakery I am not a fan of. Some things they bake do not taste fresh to me and I eat all types of foods . Their cakes are delicious. They are better than Walmart. The employees here are very nice. They will greet you before you put your items on the checkout counter. Very...

Stopped here on the way to work hoping to grab some mozzarella sticks from the hot bar. it’s advertised on the hot bar itself that it’s from 11am-2pm. I was there at 1:22 and the bins in the hot bar were covered with no explanation as to why it was closed. Well it doesn’t end there. I figured i’d grab a red bull since i was already there and i was patiently waiting to grab one from the refrigerator at the self checkout, i was rudely asked by a lady working the actual register if i was ready to check out (clearly having nothing in my hands). i said no thank you im just waiting to grab a red bull. After i grab my red bull im ringing myself up at the self checkout and she’s just standing next to me watching. I’ve never had a worse experience at a food lion before and I probably will...

One of the employees refused to remove two items from the order when I realized that I didn't have enough money to pay for them, kept saying that I was trying to get them for free so I told her to cancel my entire order and went to Walmart where I had no problem,btw I was paying with a OTC card ,I wasn't trying to get anything for free ,i don't appreciate being treated that way at all,I have had trouble with that same employee before,she needs to be fired as I've seen her give other coustmers trouble before, Eve when I said please cancel my entire order I'll go to Walmart she said oh you will have the same trouble at Walmart,I had no trouble at Walmart with exact same items... I don't know if I'll go back to that food Lion again,that employee need fired she doesn't...
