I woke up craving menudo. I remember they sell Menudo when I went to buy some tacos previously. ❌They have a good seasoning but their cooks don’t know how to cook for sh!t❌ Their food & prices were decent although their Al pistor meat is ALWAYS burnt! Their Menudo juice taste great however their meat was not fully cooked and hard. There went that menudo… trash! I asked for non burnt al pastor meat. The lady cut the burnt meat and starts chopping it up. I reminded them that I asked for unburnt meat. She goes back and cuts more meat but instead of cutting the not burnt, not raw she goes straight to the raw meat. There was clearly three choices to pick from ughh. She told me this meat is raw, I gave her a blank stare & said go ahead and give it to me. I guess my eating out is more like cooking in. I came home and finished cooking it myself. I gave the place a second chance, I will not be going back. There went my money and my appetite. Go next door to your left. They just opened a new mexican taco place and that place is finger licking good with homemade tortillas. Their Al Pastor meat is cooked to perfection, I promise, you will not be disappointed!!! Give them a try. Boy do I regret craving menudo...
Read moreCraving tacos and thinking I could find something better than “Potrillos” on Perris Blvd. I decided to ask Google for the best tacos in town. This place had the best rating and not far from home. So a bid of background first. I work in L.A. My day starts on Tuesday a.m. and ends Friday night. Needless to say, I stay out there. Theirs a street vendor in N. Hollywood who absolutely has the best tacos I’ve ever had. Living in Moreno Valley, it’s not feasible for me to travel to L.A. on my day off, just for some tacos. The Al pastor tacos I just had, are the worse tacos I’ve ever tasted. They look like carnitas, that’s how dry and bland they were. They had absolutely no color to them, or seasoning. Not your normal red meat, spinning in the burner. Absolutely horrible tasting. The cabeza tacos had zero flavor and very greasy. If I’m being honest here, their radishes with salt and lemon were 10X better than the tacos. I hate throwing food away, but this plate is going into the trash. With all this being said, it makes me wonder who writes all these good reviews, it really does. I give these tacos a strong 0 The L.A. tacos a very firm 10 and Potrillos, a solid 7. 4 stars for service and...

So I went, press for time for work, the line was long. But I gave it a shot, and hoping I wouldn't be late. I purchased a Menudo for $ 7.50 lg. I took it to work and I ate it on my break, and it was very good. I was going to go back again on my next weekend to work. So I go back, customer service for me, she was very nice. I order a menudo again lg size. I save it for break, But this time I was disappointed, it look watery no red color and the meat smelled, As I was eating it. I couldn't finish it, I throw it away . Very disappointing. I haven't been back since. But am on the fence whether too, buy menudo there. The tacos are great. That's my experience there, try it for yourself, we all have our own, taste. I might be back, but not anytime soon for me. Maybe it was my taste buds...
