Gregory Jewelers — Local services in Morganton

Should of wrote a review a long time ago, but I never did. Holy cow does time go by fast! We have been married for 12 years now and purchasing our rings at Gregory Jewelers was a great experience! What brings me to write this review was just last weekend, my wife was so excited to be so close that she could get her ring cleaned! We were camping in South Mountains State Park and we planned to come to town to have that done. She walked in, told her that we had purchased the ring there, no paperwork, just great service. Within a few minutes her ring was cleaned and serviced! I'm sure other big fancy stores would have asked for paperwork, charged us a few, tried to get us to upgrade, none of that here, just honest to goodness hospitality! On the way back home my wife talked about how great the selection of jewelry was at Gregory Jewelers. It's a one of kind place to shop. If you are looking for something special, unbeatable customer service, this is the place for you! There is only one song that could be for Gregory Jewelers, it's a song from my album, "Better Than." Several months ago my mother brought my necklace in and after a week or so she picked up what she thought was my necklace. I'm not sure what salesman supposedly did the work. However they exchanged my 20" rope style gold necklace for a cheap gold plated necklace with the pretense of it being my necklace. I had the necklace for over 25 years and never took it off for anything but to have it fixed. The last time a jeweler looked at it told me that the necklace was old and weak because of its age and would continue to break easily.

UPDATE I have my facts in line, this happened before October. I know you have a good reputation and I said that I didn't know who took in my necklace because my mom is the one who brought it to the store. I know that the store has been in business for a long time in Morganton and I also know it's under new ownership/management. Gregory Jewelers is a wonderful jewelry store. They have a very knowledgeable, friendly staff that can help you with all of your jewelry needs. They have an excellent jeweler, in-store. Your jewelry doesn't have to be sent out of the store for repair. I can honestly say Darwin does the best jewelry repair I have ever seen. They do everything they can to accommodate your needs.
