Uptown Wing Bar — Restaurant in Morganton

Went to Uptown Wing Bar, so my husband could watch his team play.

Let me tell you- the servers were on top of it at all times, and the kitchen also. The wings came out hot, quickly and done. Delicious!

The servers were so attentive and busy and …did I say attentive? And they noticed everything…quickly. Like what team shirt you were wearing to help you find the best table with the best view.

You never had to look for them, because they were always there and asking before you thought it!

I got dry rub and mine were crispy and steaming hot(temperature). And crunchy! I enjoy crunchy. I got 6 dry rub Frank’s Red Hot and 6 Honey Jalapeño dry rub. My husband got Hot Buffalo (wet sauce). The wings are $1 each before 4 pm every day.

Definitely recommend….great wings! And lots of tv screens on all walls I have to say everything was beyond perfect! My husband and I was just sitting on the couch discussing that he can’t remember a time in a restaurant or bar that the waitstaff was that attentive and focused on their job… they are not chatting up just one customer, or watching the game, or on their phone .. they were constantly working and clearing and asking everyone what they needed. Was staying in the area on a business trip and in need of some dinner. Everything immediately around my hotel was already closed for the night. So, I got on Google to find out what was still open and came across Uptown Wing Bar. Man, oh man, was I glad they were still open and even more glad I got the opportunity to try their food. The food was phenomenal. The atmosphere and other patrons were friendly and fun, and the service was fantastic. I think it's great how late this place stays open, especially since everything else in the area was already closed. I tried the Mississippi Honey BBQ chicken, and it was amazingly flavorful and cooked to perfection with a slight crunch/crisp and generously slathered with the sauce of my choice. Uptown Wing Bar saved us the night before Valentine’s Day. We always have a crazy long night making as many arrangements as we can the night before Valentine’s and always seem to forget about eating dinner until it’s super late. We called Uptown Wing Bar and ordered 5 different plates. They gave us a 20 minute estimated wait time and walked over just after the time frame. Everything was ready to go when we walked in. We brought the food back to our shop for everyone. The food was amazing! We got wings, a wrap, chicken tenders, pub chips, fries and fried mushrooms. Wish we knew how good the food was before now because we would’ve been eating here a lot sooner, especially with them almost right across the street from us!
