I was really surprised by our experience here after reading so many wonderful reviews. Our appointment time was late to begin and the store clerk rather short and clipped with us. We gave her our budget and asked to remain less than the upper end. The first dress I was given to try was gorgeous but then I was told it was $600 over budget. This was frustrating and a waste of time. Close to the end of the of the appointment we were shown one dress that was more reasonable priced in our budget. We tried to laugh and have a good time joking around but it was clear the worker was not interested and remained short and clipped with us. We tried to be honest that we had appointments elsewhere but would be choosing that day. Once she knew we wouldn’t purchase at that moment it was clear she wanted us gone. I live in Morgantown and first went to The Vow with my daughter who bought her wedding dress there. I found a dress I liked, but visited several Pittsburgh bridal stores prior to returning to The Vow to buy TWO mother of the bride, and yes, later this year, mother of the groom, wedding ceremony dresses!!! I had such a wonderful experience with Rachael. She made me feel comfortable and really listened to my feedback about the dresses I was trying on. She ended up picking out one of my top choices! She really made me and my guests feel welcomed throughout my visit. I would definitely recommend to any brides looking for their dress!
