Montage Wine Bar & Spirits — Restaurant in Morris

I was hoping more for this place. Came here for a fun night with friends at a local place. Ordered a hummus dip and a drink per person. The waitress was great, but when we asked for more carrots, we were charged a dollar per tab (3 tabs) for 7 carrot sticks for the extra hummus we ordered and paid for (making a stick 2.33 per stick, see sticks below). The tab stated (for carrots not crackers). When we brought it to the manager’s attention she was rude and said “next time, we won’t take this off your tab, we have a set price.” Is the set price for the carrots or crackers? I’m not sure how 3 dollars is more important for carrots than consistent business; however due to attitude and price, there will not be...

Not a bad experience but definitely alotta confusion. Had the mimosa flight, it was fine but the table was so wobbly it almost spilled everytime I moved. Ordered Bao's... I was confused for a minute becuz they came out looking like tacos. Considering all the Bao's I've eaten in my lifetime, that was new. The lady was nice, and that's the only reason I'm not giving 1star. The biggest thing was, I saw a "non-cash payment" surcharge on my check. That's strange becuz I DID pay cash. Who knows why they'd do that?? Accidental? Blatant? I didn't say anything & just ate the surcharge. I'd recommend this place just as long you read your check over carefully...

I worked with Michelle and Jessica to help plan for an engagement party that didn’t have an exact hard head count. They were fantastic to work with, flexible, and really helped make our day special and enjoyable. The back room was was the perfect space for people to mingle and sit if they wished. The food and wine are excellent, and the cocktails are well made. It’s one of our favorite places in Morris, and would highly recommend for dinner...
