Farm in fleet of Morton took advantage of my Girlfriend and broke down My new car. My girlfriend and I have been going to farm and fleet to get our oil changed for 5 years now. never once have I ever had anything less than a positive experience. They seem to be under new management as they have all new workers and new lower standards. My girlfriend decided to call in about an oil change as I was busy. Just because she is a woman they feel they can take advantage of her. They quoted her for $55 not including the oil filter. It has always been $30. I knew something was fishy right away. The guy on the phone said some new law regarding oil makes them have to charge more. What?! Unfortunately the appointment was already made and we didn't have any time to waste. So we took my 2012 Chevy Cruze in to get the oil changed. They told us it could take 1/2-1 hour. It took two. But ok no problem. It wasn't till that same night, my NEW car, one I have never had any issues with whatsoever, is broken down on the side of the road with the engine light flashing. This is ridiculous! Now I am getting irritated. I called the dealership I bought the car from and they had to come tow it 20 miles. Come to find out that somehow my antifreeze was drained and my radiator overheated each time I started the car. No leak, it was drained. The dealership couldn't find any leaks at all. Is this some kind of scheme to have us come back and get that fixed to? following up with my $55 quote, I just called back and they quoted me $29. Same car same everything. So why did you charge $55 to my girlfriend? I am very disappointed in the business ethics of Farm & Fleet. I am determined to get this story out. I will write the paper and post this on review sites. I'm extremely disappointed farm & fleet. People need to be aware this happens and it's not just something you hear about. These people are thieves and take advantage of you & your car. Please be warned! Do not goto Farm & Fleet auto!! They will only cause headaches and...
Read moreIt's been awhile since I've been to the Farm and Fleet in Morton so it was nice to be able to go back it felt kind of like the first time and it was nice to be able to do a review this time! My husband was going so he could buy a new pair of boots and there was a very nice selection, almost too many he had a hard time deciding. He ended up getting a real nice pair of Carhartt boots that matched his new coat that he got for Christmas! I also wanted to get him a Carhartt beanie at Bass Pro but they hardly had anything at all in shock. If I would have known that Farm & Fleet carried all of that (without giving it away to my husband) then I would have purchased everything here instead. When we were walking around the store we ended up finding that same exact beanie that I was wanting to buy him so I did!. There was such a large selection of items to choose from many great brands and lots of great sales too! Farm & Fleet has pretty much anything you would need even down to the old-fashioned candy and peanuts. I'll be looking into getting some tires from this place soon! The cashier tried to get us to sign up for a credit card where we would have saved $50 off of our first purchase, monthly benefits, and percentages off and certain times when cardholders can come in and shop before everybody else. I didn't take advantage of it this time but maybe if I make more of a habit of coming here I will. If you haven't been to Farm and Fleet yet you should definitely look into it have included some wonderful pictures...

I bought a set of tires, two of which turned out to be defective. They said they'd replace one and convinced me that the other was not a risk, so I decided that I could just wait and see if it caused problems later.
When they were finished the replacement, I was told that it was $180. When I said that it was under warranty, they replied it wasn't since I didn't have Road Hazard. She was trying to argue a bubble in the new tire is caused by damage from driving, which is false. When I said that this is definitely covered, she replied, "Not if you talk to me like that, it isn't" (??????????) Then she told me to take it up with Goodyear. My tires are Cooper tires. (??????????????????????????????????)
This kind of service is embarrassing. They sold me 2/4 defective tires and I had to schedule three separate appointment for 1 hour each to get both fixed. And yes, I demanded that they fix the other defective tire after they treated me that way.
I didn't catch her name, but she is the older lady who's been there for ages. Santata, the manager, is cool and worked with me, but I doubt the old lady was reprimanded or fired, which she should be.
I will never be back. Avoid this place at all costs. Not worth it. Just...
